Orla began her career studying at Dublin’s National College of Art. She then received her Master’s degree from the Royal College of Art in London, where she is now a Visiting Professor for Textiles. Together with her husband and business partner, Dermott Rowan, she founded her eponymous line in 1995 and opened her first flagship store in London in 2005. Using the foundations of color and pattern, Orla blends functionality and humor with her love of texture and rhythm.
