Harriet Wilde

Though she dreamt of becoming a tea taster as a little girl, consistently good marks in art class meant a career in design for Ruth Shaw. Upon striking out when searching for the perfect pair to accompany her own original vintage wedding dress (a mix of lace, satin, and tulle netting, to be precise), the Londoner decided to create her own collection of wedding footwear – something less ‘fluffy’, more stylish. Shoes are such an important extension of a wedding day ensemble she notes, ‘especially with shorter dress styles’. Named after her great grandmother, the Harriet Wilde collection offers brides a vintage-inspired aesthetic with a touch glamour, and superior European craftsmanship.
