Jonathan Adler
Delightfully enough, Jonathan Adler discovered the art of pottery-making at summer camp. He spent his entire adolescence and college years throwing pots, and then moved to New York where he dabbled in the movie business for a few years. Needing a change, he returned to his studio, and got his first big order from a major retailer; he then opened stores in Soho and Los Angeles, launched a glamorous furniture collection, worked in interior design, and created a line of clever and beautiful home goods. Jonathan’s playfully sophisticated designs add a dash of wit to the conventions of decor.
