Nice as expected It's an ok dress in terms of its presence. I ordered according to fit guide, and it was ok, size 6. The material and color doesn't translate well in person. And I think it looks best on skinnier, small busted girls so that it's not too big around the shoulders, and the somewhat high waist doesn't dwarf you. While it fit in the chest, it was lose around the shoulders (I don't have narrow/small shoulders), and arms. It made me look frumpy. January 7, 2013
Cute but VERY short-waisted, bad for full-busted girls. I wanted so badly to love this dress - and it's totally cute, the fabric is great, and I am sure it would be a fine fit for thin, small-busted girls. As a girl who wears a 12 and has a full (D) chest, though, it's way off. Instead of hitting at the natural waist as pictured, it hits a few inches below the bust, and the result is a weird almost babydoll cut that is incredibly unflattering, and lacks the sophistication of the lower waist pictured. I work in fashion, and my guess is that they failed to grade up the bodice length as they graded up the rest of the measurements. Another inch and a half in the waist and it'd be great, but as is, it's a no-go. I'm not that tall either! Only 5'7, which is pretty average. December 19, 2012
Beautiful Dress As another reviewer noted stick to upper body measurements when ordering this dress. I am a curvy 5'1, my top is a 34 D and size 6 was a tad too big. I love that the sash can be worn two ways. The lace is very delicate so things can hook to the material very easily. This was the perfect dress for my courthouse wedding. December 18, 2012
mother of the bride This dress is very well made, yet the ties on the sleeves made for a more frumpy look. The repair would be easy even for a novice sewer. I am 5'4 and weight 140. I am 50 and thought this would be lovely for an etsy vintage wedding. I returned this as the gathered skirt made my hip area look larger. A size 10 was a good fit. November 8, 2012
