Perfect.
I bought this dress to wear as a bridesmaid dress for a friend's wedding. I am so glad I did--it was simply amazing! I've never had so many people compliment a dress before. It's beautiful and unique, and you can tell it's so well made. The silk slip on the inside is so comfortable. I also love the lower scoop back--not too low, to where you can't wear a bra, but it adds a unique twist.
I ordered a 4, and ended up returning it for a smaller size so it wasn't so loose. It ended up being perfect.

Not for busty and/or curvy ladies!
I'm five three and wanted something short for my summer wedding. I had already set my heart on the Tracy Reese dress but ordered this as a back-up and realizing it was significantly cheaper. I ordered a size 8 and it swam on me. The wast was all off and gave me no definition. I would be wary of buying a belt of any sort as I would be afraird of damaging the lace detail. The dress is very beautiful, however, as several reviewers stated it is not flattering to us curvy gals.

Just not right.
I first ordered this dress in a size 4. I am 5'3, 36C, and normally a size 4. The 4 was WAY too big on me and the fabric did not lay right. I quickly ordered a size 2, thinking it would fit like a glove. The 2 looked exactly the same on me and did nothing for my figure. The sheer fabric and lace seems to lay funny from being folded in a small box, and it appears that it would be hard to manage. I think this dress would be very flattering on someone with no curves, and is very thin and tall (like the model). Not really made for someone with an actual figure.

Refreshing Retro Twist
The quality of this dress is not evident through the pictures - the fabrics are top-notch and the lining has a bit of stretch making this a very comfortable shift dress. It is a true rich ivory in person, a bit more buttery than in the photo. I'm just above average height and the dress hits a few inches above the knee. I agree with another reviewer that it is a bit baggy, but it does fit pear shapes well and I might have my tailor take it in a bit at the waist - hopefully that's possible because the lattice lace is quite complex. It could also be belted. I will be wearing this as my reception dress and can't wait to dance the night away in it.
