I got this dress because I loved the top and the knot. I also bought another dress and converted the two together. I added the resplendent sash and it totally brought everything together. For what I paid for all items, I had a custom dress and I am so glad I did it! The only thing I wish I would've done was sized down one size. It was a little larger than I had expected. The fabric was great and it is super light and comfy! I might buy this dress in another color for a friends wedding coming up!

Amazing as a last minute wedding gown!
I ordered this dress in a size 18 but it didn't fit. I was so sad because it was beautiful. I found out a competitor sold it up to a size 24!! Anyway this dress if curvy runs small so order up a size or 2. I am bottom heavy and this dress has 2 slips underneath and they are very narrow. I ended up going up a size and my mother took the bodice in for me. Be careful with jewelry and belts as they will easily get snagged on the dress. If your a bride with a budget this dress can be transformed in many ways to be dressed up or down. Other than that this dress is absolutely beautiful. Im praying BHLDN will carry bigger sizes in the future because I loveeee this site. :)

Has its Pros and Cons
Being on a budget and a time crunch, this dress was an option as a solution to both those problems. I encourage anyone to try this dress if you have similar concerns and are even thinking about this dress a little bit. I wanted something that was simple, a little different, but still dressy and classic..and I wanted a gray wedding dress with white lace topper. While it hit the mark for what I wanted, it had a few things that caused me to send it back. The dress is well-made in structure, but if you don't use the panels to convert your dress in some way, you notice the strips of fabric hanging about and this ultimately ended up bugging me. The dress is EXTREMELY long. I ordered a size 4 based on my largest measurement (waist: 27 inches, hips: 34, bust: 33). I'm 129 lbs, 32C, and petite and I'd ballpark the dress was a good 6-8 inches too long. It was extremely loose in the top, but fit my waist and hips well. Given that, I had some estimates given for taking in the top and hemming it and the cost on average ended up being more than half the cost of the dress, which made it outside my budget. I also found the dress slightly difficult to move in and and overall I was uncomfortable...I think the lining on the inside was the cause (not too tight, just didn't allow for easy movement for some reason). The gray color is beautiful, by the way. It's a slightly darker color than pictured here. To sum it up: the dress just didn't fit me me very well, but it may fit someone else better! Just be prepared to have it taken up a great deal.

Got the dress in the mail today, and loved it. Loved the fit, feel, and weight of material. Really love the bust area, very comfortable. Normally wear a 12 and the 14 fit perfectly for comfort. If you aren't super tall, def will need to see a tailor because the dress is very long. The main issue I had was, I purchased the grey and it looked purplish in the mirror with my skin tone and didn't have the "wow factor". I think it would of been great, if the belt I bought to try with it - would of been available to try with the dress. Unfortunately, it sold out and the belt was cancelled. It looked to plain for wedding purposes. Would be a great dress with accessories.
