According to the sizing guide, I am a size 4 bust, size 6 natural waist, and size 10 hips. I am 5'3". I ordered a size 6, and it was quite large, so I returned it and ordered the 4. It was still quite large! I would have needed to have it take in in the waist and bust a bit, and I'd still have to take a good 4-5 inches off the bottom. I found that this dress was nowhere near as fitted as it looks in this picture - even if I had ordered a 2, the bodice is not form fitting, and the skirt looks almost A-line in this picture, but it definitely big and flowing. It made my hips look gigantic.
The lace material was also not very nice; it actually seemed a bit cheap. The sash was very poorly made and would have needed to be replaced; the bow snaps into place, but the material is poor so it just kind of sags and looks sad. The color "serene blue" is also more of a lagoony mint color. It is still nice, but it's more green than blue for sure.
I wanted so badly to love this dress, but it was in no way made for my body size and I think that this picture does not represent the actual dress very well.

Beautiful, but huge
My measurements are 35.5-28-40.5, meaning a 6 on top and a 10 on the bottom according to the size guide. I am 5'5". I bought an 8. It gapped on top and was voluminous around the waist and hips. I am surprised at how much inflation there is in the size, even after following the fit guide; I normally wear a 10.
If I had gone with it, I would have exchanged it for a 6, lopped off at least four inches on the bottom and had it taken in much tighter around the waist and hips. I decided that would be too much fuss.
Overall, not a good shape for a pear-shaped figure; the empire waist emphasized my hips. It would be much better for someone who is tall with narrow hips.
However, it is gorgeous fabric, well designed and well made.
