Give This Dress A Try
I tried several other dresses on at BHLDN and this was the keeper. I'm 5'8 165 and curvy. This dress is not only flattering but also extremely comfortable. I highly recommend either trying this on at the store or at a seamstress where they can pin it properly so that you get a true indication of what it will look like. I have to say that I don't think the model does this dress justice. It is stunning in person and the embroidery is great. I had to get a size bigger than what I needed because it was out of stock at the time but I was planning on having it altered. It is very easy for a seamstress to make the dress shorter without altering the lace panels at the bottom. She was also able to take the bust and back in and make it fit like a glove, all for $125 (not bad considering I got the dress for 350).
A lot of people commented about the bad quality of the dress. My dress shipped fast and arrived clean. It did have a few stray threads here and there but overall I was satisfied with the dress quality especially considering the price.
I wanted a simple and classic boho dress so that I can rock the accessories and flower crown in my hair. I absolutely love this dress and can't wait to wear it at my rustic barn wedding next year.

This is dress is perfectly elegant and simple
First of all, I have to start off by saying that the reviews saying dress is a foot too long are ridiculous. Yes the dress is extremely long, but like any wedding dress, you have to get it tailored! It's normal -- nothing wrong with the dress. I tried on this dress at the BHLDN in Georgetown (Washington, DC) and fell in love. The material is cotton so it's light weight and breathable. It looks like a wedding dress, but it's not overly formal. It's boho without being out of date. All-in-all it's perfect. The detailing is gorgeous as well. As with any wedding dress, I will be getting it tailored to fit me like a glove.

This dress is exactly what I wanted for my wedding, however when the dress arrived I immediately tried it on and just like all the other reviews it was about one foot too long. (I am 5'4) The dress was also really big in the chest area and the sleeves kept falling down. I took it to the seamstress to ask her opinion and she could alter the dress, but would basically have to remove almost the whole bottom layer of lace for it to fit me. (The alterations would cost around $200) The dress also had three black spots on it that the seamstress said looked like machine oil. I also felt like this dress was a little expensive for the quality of the fabric, it was rather see through and appeared to wrinkle easily. I returned the dress feeling like 700 bucks was WAY to much for this piece.

As soon as I saw it I knew it was the one. This dress is so stunning, everything I always wanted in a wedding dress simple but elegant. There are so many things you can do with it in terms of dressing it up. I did not find the sizing to be big like the other reviews, I would say its true to size, I'm 5'3" 135 lbs curvy build, I usually am a 4/6 but I ordered Medium because I'm going to get it altered anyway. Can't wait to get to wear this beautiful dress on my big day!
