I purchased the Ella bodysuit to wear with a skirt (not from BHLDN) for my wedding.
I am usually an Australia size 10 but I had to order the size 2 (which is an Australia size 6). I would say it is definitely on the larger size so make sure you take your measurements before purchasing.
The beading is stunning in person and it is a very delicate top.
When I tried it on, I did feel it was too sheer, so I took it to an alterations studio to have 'nude' colour lining put in the bodysuit and I am so happy with the final product because you now can't see the outline of the cups or any skin.
I also had the straps shortened quite a bit and that made a huge difference to how the bodysuit sits. Because the top is heavy with all the beading, it's a much better fit if it sits tight against your chest.
Overall very happy with the Ella bodysuit as it is very stunning and something a bit different from the usual wedding dress.

I was a little nervous ordering this bodysuit without seeing it in person. It took three months for it to arrive and it is stunning! The beadwork is even more beautiful in person than I could've imagined. It feels a bit heavy, but you don't notice the weight as much when it's on. The fabric is totally see through, but it didn't feel too revealing. I paired the bodysuit with the amora skirt in ivory.

I special ordered this, so it took about 3 months to arrive. I had not tried this on before either. While it has beautiful intricate beading, I was very surprised how delicate and see-through this was. It has no lining--I could see my belly-button! The cups are also very thin and provide no support (I am a B-cup, size 6). It felt like I was wearing lingerie. If you are very thin and can get away without wearing a bra, this may work for you. Otherwise, you would need major alterations to add new cups, boning, lining, etc which could be very expensive.
