PERFECT I love this dress, I went and tried it on in Houston and it fit perfectly! I normally wear around a size 16 in normal dresses, but the size 12 fit me just right! Even though I'm only 5'2" I think I can wear this for my November wedding without any alterations! I will need a great pair of shoes though! May 11, 2013
soft, ethereal, vintage this is a gorgeous, high quality dress. the silk is soft beyond belief. if this shape flatters you, there's nothing not to adore abt this dress... i've decided against strapless, otherwise this would definitely be in the running. it also looks quite pretty w/ many of the boleros and capelets bhldn offers. do size down! i'm currently a size 10 (broad-shouldered 36-C, w former swimmer's ribcage), ordered a size 10, but definitely would need an 8 in this. the size 10 was falling down. for height reference, i'm 5'7" and would not have needed to hem w/ 2+ inch heels. Excellent Love this dress. Lace is soft. Dress is well made with good internal structure and lining..Very light weight and easy to wear. The colour is perfect ivory (like in the 4th and 5th photo views on the website rather than the cream on the 1st view) I live in Australia and it only took 5 working days to arrive! I did have to pay a couple hundred dollars in customs/duty charges. But I feel this dress is worth it! In terms of fit, the size guide measurements are spot on. I measured myself and hesitantly bought a 4, then worried that it would be too small. But it fits true to size. I was most worried about the bodice as previous reviews have mentioned that the bust of the dress runs small. I think I should clarify that with me the actual fabric of the bodice are true to size. However, the underwire cups in the lining are really small. I have a bigger bust (Bra size 10E Australian) and so the wires sit half way down my breasts rather than under them. But they are easily removed and either wear a strapless bra or new boning/internal bra fitted by a local dressmaker. I am 171cm tall, it is perfect length with heals. However I may get it brought up a touch so I can wear flats. April 22, 2013
Love this dress! This dress is even more beautiful in person! The lace is incredibly soft. I'm a typically a size two, and the dress fit true to size! I'm having cups inserted by a seamstress for extra lift and curves (I'm a 32 B). This might not be necessary for all sizes, since there is under wire already built in. I wasn't planning to go with a strapless dress, but I took a chance on ordering this and I'm so happy I did! The cut is very flattering and comfortable. I'm also having it shortened, because I plan to wear flats (outdoor wedding), but if you're wearing heels that might not be necessary. I highly recommend! January 19, 2013
