Ava Maxi Dress
I bought this dress in the navy a few weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with my purchase! My sister is having a her wedding in Ireland, so I was looking for something long, light, and regal. This dress is all of those and more! I cannot wait to wear this! The fit and coloration is more than perfect. The blue is wonderful and exactly what is shown in the picture. I am smaller on top, 32A, and have a small waist. One feature of this dress that is perfect for my figure is the tie at the waist. This allows me to have a better fit, making it seem that this was perfectly tailored for my body. The length is also perfect, about 3 inches too long, which is plenty for wearing heels. Overall, you cannot go wrong with the price for the quality and satisfaction this dress will most certainly bring!

Graceful and sleek; but a few fitting issues.
I am 5'7", 34C, and 137 lbs, and ordered the Navy in size 6. Fits true to size. (the navy color is rather dark and drab in person, and not as bright as it appears online.) My first impression was of the overall elegant, graceful shape of this dress! It has a distinct Regency/Jane Austen-era feel to it; with the high waist, ruched sleeves, and gathering in the back. It's definitely long; with flat shoes the dress dragged on the floor a full 4 inches, so this is great for tall girls, but unless you are wearing very high heels it will need hemming. That aside, where this dress falls short is the fit along the neckline and bust area. This is a VERY low cut gown. The gown has an inner slip-like lining, with adjustable straps that are even detachable from the chiffon outer layer; however, the rest of the slip is sewed to the dress. It is not removable. It really needs to be separate from the gown, as any adjusting of the straps causes the outer chiffon layer at the neckline to puff and droop, as it rises with the slip (instead of the slip being able to move freely underneath, without affecting the top layer.) The waistband is extremely high and fits very awkwardly at the bust, cutting right across the middle of my breasts uncomfortably. No matter how I adjusted the straps or tugged at the dress, the chiffon outer layer sags and droops, exposing lots of cleavage. I tried the dress on with and without a bra; my back strap could be seen with such a low back, but going bra-less definitely did not work with all of the bust issues. Also, the brass button at the back of the neck is very heavy, and causes the fabric at the back to sag a bit under its weight. I wish that there were a few more buttons along the backside, as the open back can gape open in a sloppy manner. I really love the idea of this dress and have tried everything to make it work, but I don't know how to wear it without having serious alterations done.
