I really wanted to love this dress, but I didn't. Overall it is a very pretty dress. However, the yellow color of the flowers seemed not quite right to me, I wanted them to be pale green or blue or anything other than the yellow for some reason it just didn't look right to me. The dress is gorgeous with lots of incredible details though. Also, I did not find it to run large. I wear a 0 street size and the 4 fit me. I think it would look best on someone with a small chest, I'm a 34B-C and no matter what bra I wore, it looked like I was wearing a sports bra. It also looked a little bit to young for me (I'm 36). Gorgeous dress, not for me, it's going back...

I'm from the UK and am a UK size 8, and have always had a problem converting to US sizes. Apparently UK8 is a US4 but I've always found this too big, and having only ever bought things online was wary of trying a size down as I'm never a UK6! However, I went by the measurements given for the dress and went with a size 2. It fitted perfectly - so whatever you do, check the measurements given against your own, as they are 100% correct. I would think that if you were very busty then it may not be the dress for you, so avoid if you are top heavy, but I think this will flatter almost anyone. I am not particularly curvy and have a fairly small bust and back.
The dress is gorgeous. I wore it for my brother's wedding after searching for something unique and special for over a year, including many top designer brands. It's very fine, soft peachy silk with a shiny satin silk that shimmers through. Knee length (flattering for the legs), floaty, understated but rich in design and ornamentation, it's a real find and a treasure. I couldn't recommend it more. Yes, I agree with the last reviewer about having to be very careful with the zip, as the top layer of fabric is incredibly delicate and prone to snagging on anything!

This dress is beautiful. I plan on wearing it to my rehearsal dinner and 2nd reception. I found the dress to fit true to size. I am a slightly bigger size in the chest area (but would consider myself 'curvy') compared to other areas of my body, so the top is a bit snug (totally different experience than the other reviewer), but it is in no way ill fitting. My biggest concern is the zipper, which easily snags on the outer layer of the dress. You have to be incredibly careful not to snag the fabric, which is nearly impossible with how the zipper is sewn in on my dress. Sadly there are already a few snags on the side of the dress from trying it on only once. I will say, however, that the zipper is on the side of the dress with all the beading and flower details, so honestly I doubt a soul (but me) will ever notice. Thank you BHLDN for an overall amazing piece!

I ordered this dress as an alternative to a traditional wedding dress. I have been searching for MONTHS for a knee-length casual dress that I can see myself walking down the aisle in and when I found this dress the morning the website launched I ordered it right away!
I am a true size 0, and ordered the 0 because that's usually what I wear in Anthro clothes. However! This dress is WAY too big. I will have to have it altered quite a bit to get it to fit on the top and at the waist. The skirt and the straps are fine, but there just is too much fabric under my armpits and on my sides. That makes me wonder if it would fit someone better who had a bigger bust? But that's not really the only place it is loose. So I would suggest ordering down a least 1 size.
The fabric and beading are beautiful and I wasn't disappointed about any other aspect of the dress. I hope it works out!
