very sheer
This dress runs quite large and is very sheer. I ordered two sizes and both were very wide. Unfortunately you can see the darts on the under-layer through the lace.
I was hoping to wear this as a mother of the bride, but will return it.

Not a keeper
I did not like this dress for a number of reasons. The sleeves are too long and too loose, they hit at a very awkward place and look ill fitted. In my opinion the dress should be a bit shorter to balance the big, loose silhouette. Girls with small shoulders might have a problem with this neckline, the shoulders were slipping off of me and the overall fit of the neckline did not flatter. The thing I disliked about the dress the most was the color. It is not the ivory pictured. Itâ??s yellowish. It looks like an old dress that was once ivory but has yellowed over decades. This probably appeals to some, but it did not to me. Also, for people picky about fabrics â?? the synthetic lining does not feel very nice against your skin. If it was a dress I loved I could get past that, but I didnâ??t. I am a huge lover of shift & swing dresses. The right one is demure and sassy at the same time, very feminine, youthful, and forgiving. This one did not give me that. On the good side the dress was well made, and seemed sturdy.
I am 5'8" with a slightly petite frame (currently need to shed 15 pounds tho) I tried size 4 & 6. I think this dress would work much better on someone with broader shoulders.

Stunning!
Runs a bit large. I recommend to order one size down. I am usually a size 8 and ordered a size 6. It fit perfectly. I ordered this for my daughter's wedding. I was afraid that it might be too young for me (age 53). I tried it on and absolutely adored it! Her wedding was May 4, 2013. I had more compliments on it than any other dress I have ever worn! My daughter didn't like the picture on the internet, but she loved it when I tried it on for her. The color is more of a soft butter. I was afraid of the color being too close to my daughter's dress, but it was great! So happy I got it!

Beautiful Dress but...
The material of the dress is absolutely gorgeous, but the gorgeous material is absoultely see through. It didn't look that see through at first but when I walked into another room with natural light, I could clearly see everything underneath. It also runs extremely large. I am usually a 4. I ordered a size 2 based on other reviewer comments and I was swimming in the dress. If the dress hadn't been so see through I may have ordered a size 0, but I had to return it.
