Close, but no cigar
I wasn't sure what to expect with this dress-basically I want a dress with sleeves and this was one of the choices that was in my price range. First, I discovered that the slip and the outer lace shell are completely separate and both have zippers. Oddly, the slip seemed bigger than the lace shell. Once on, the dress looked very pretty and bridal, but the fabric was a little scratchy to me. Like the other reviewer, I had a hard time lifting my arms past parallel because of the sleeves. I'm normally a size 4 in street clothes, so I ordered a 6. I think that if I chose this dress, I would be best off with a size 8. Another concern I had is that the dress was about a foot too long and had a noticeably different pattern on the lace at the hem. I'm not sure how you would take up the dress without changing the look, but I'm sure it could be done :) Overall, I felt that this dress looked too young for me so this one will be going back.
(One final note, my mom loved this dress on me. She felt that the lace fabric was high quality but since it was on the stiff side it reminded her of upholstery fabric).

I very nearly picked this dress before I fell in love with the Tamsin gown. It has an old world, classic feel and can be styled for many different types of weddings and looks. Had I chosen this dress, I would have given it a colored ribbon sash with a bold flower crown. The slip of the dress is gorgeous on its own! The bodice runs very small. I normally wear a 6 or an 8, but the sample 10 fit me perfectly. I wasn't able to raise my arms above my chest due to the stiff cap sleeves, which makes dancing very difficult.
