This dress is ivory (in the pics it shows as white). The silk and gauze fabric are gorgeous much more so than in the pic. My bust is 35''. I ordered both 4 and 6 as according to the size chart I fall in between. I am trying to decide whether to have the 4 altered to expand a bit in the chest or alter the 6 to fit tighter. The four is quite tight in the chest but I like the way it fits in the shoulders and waist better than the 6. The seams have very little room for expansion in the chest area but I'll if my seamstress can do something creative.

Delicate perfection
The craftsmanship in the dress is amazing. I only had 6 weeks to organise our DIY wedding in Australia, so purchasing this dress really took a leap of faith... and boy did it pay off! It arrived in Australia within 7 working days and as soon as I put on the dress, I knew that this was the one.
The BHLDN consultant was very helpful in determining the right size, and the dress fitted almost perfectly. I had a tailor take it up and we reduced the train of the dress slightly so it wouldn't get caught on my shoes. We also put in a couple of subtle darts in the delicate bodice so it wouldn't gape. This made the dress flawless! My tailor kept commenting on the outstanding quality of this garment.
The dress is a timeless classic, yet it is also so unique. I haven't seen anything else quite like it. I had so many wonderful compliments on the day. The embroidery is stunning and on the sheer bodice it felt like it floated on my décolletage. I also bought a floral sash which helped accentuate the dress and waistline.
Yes, the dress is extremely delicate, but I feel that this enhances its beauty. The dress was also extremely comfortable, flattering and I felt so beautiful on the day.
Yes - the price is high, (especially as there's stamps and duties when importing to Australia), but given the limited time I had to seek out a dress, I absolutely have no regrets. It is classic, yet unique. Fragile, yet beautiful. This dress will make you feel and look amazing.

simple, well-made elegance
I originally order a size 10 based on the fit guide and when it arrived it was HUGE! I contacted a BHLDN stylist about doing an exchange for a smaller size and she was incredibly helpful. She explained that the fit guide is a bit off for this particular dress and was able to recommend which size would work best based on my measurements. I recommend contacting a stylist before you order this dress to confirm that you are ordering the proper size since it doesn't match the fit guide. She helped expedit the exchange and had a smaller size shipped to me within a week. I was very impressed with the customer service and the new dress fits very nicely! I can't wait to wear it my wedding!

Beautiful
I did not end up buying this dress but it was a very very close second. I tried it on in at the Houston location. For a sample dress it was in amazingly good condition, reassuring me that while the fabric may seem delicate it was quite durable. The lace on the front was seamless and appeared as if it was almost glued to my skin. I love the way the extra fabric flows so beautifully when you walk. I ended up buying another dress in a size 4 that fits perfectly but this dress in size 4 was a little big and would have needed alterations, being just under 5'6" it was also a wee bit long of course.
