Wonderful dress for a perfect day!
This dress was exactly what I was looking for-- I knew I wanted a shorter dress, but the selection and quality at all the bridal shops I visited was lacking. The quality of this gown is excellent-- the material feels nice and it has a built-in bra to help it stay up (I was a little nervous about strapless). The french seams and ric-rac details were so sweet and perfect for my personality and wedding style.
I purchased a size 2, and it fit perfectly-- true to the measurements bhldn provided. The only trouble I had was keeping the dress from falling down when dancing (the dress dipped down a little low on me)-- but the strapless was so beautiful in pictures that it was well worth it!
Like the other reviewers said, this dress does fall more mid-calf on average height ladies (I'm 5'5"). I think it's a must to wear at least small heels with this dress-- I hated it when I tried it on with flats. As soon as I put some heels on (I normally don't wear heels at all, I chose 1.5" heels), I knew the dress was a keeper.

Happy Bride/Happy Day!
When I got engaged in 2010, I knew that finding "the right" dress was going to be a challenge- my two sisters live on the West coast and in my Midwestern city, the selection didn't have what I was looking for. So, when I heard about BHLDN's launch, my sisters and I Skyped as we browsed the sight and I found my dress before I even tried it on! The cut and color are sweet and classy, and the fit was easily determined with the sizing chart. When I walked down the aisle this past June, my groom was all smiles and said it was "just perfect". I added the sweet, beaded gloves for an extra touch! I give this dress rave reviews, thank you BHLDN- I was a very happy bride in this dress!!

The perfect dress for an intimate wedding
We had a small and intimite wedding with only 30 guests so when I was looking for my dress, I felt that all those big gowns very over dressed for the event and have been having a very hard time deciding what to wear.
I was so excited when BHLDN opened a bit over a year ago. And when saw this dress, I knew this is IT! It's simple yet different. At first when I receive the dress, I thought it was a bit more yellow that cream but it was super pretty under the natural sunlight and I just LOVE it!
The one thing I have to complain about though will have to be the fit. I am 5'10 so the length was perfect on me. I have my seanstress added more tulles to make it puffier as I think it's not as puffy as the picture shown. The bust part of the dress fit a bit strange (the tip of the bust sort of stick out a bit too much), the tube was a bit tight and the waist was a bit bigger than the measurement. In the end, with the magic hand of my seamstress and $500 extra, it was all good. Some might think that paying $500 on top for alteration is ridiculous but I think anyother dress would just cost as much in alteration anyway and plus I am still paying under $1000 so I am very very happy.

CHEAP zipper
THis is the 4th dress I have sent back to BHLDN. So far I'm not impressed with there dresses. The sizing is always off. Worst of all the zipper in this dress is totally CHEAP. I couldn't zip it up when it was off or on. For $600. they should put in a decent zipper. I do like the styling of this dress and I so sad it hasn't worked out! Even though I now have the right size.
