pretty deceiving on screen vs in person.
I have been eyeing this dress for a couple of months now and when I saw it on sale I quickly bought it and anxiously waited for the dress to arrive...
I read all of the reviews and felt pretty prepared to see this dress in person-- But! I was not...
Many people commented that this dress was a more buttercream/yellow color than an ivory color. (This was true, but I would say it was more straw yellow than a buttercream. Buttercream makes it sound like it's still a creamy-like color... Copy writing really got to me there.)
Some commented that the material was not as delicate as the model images. (This too was true, but I was surprised that the material was more of a muslin/straw like material.)
The retouching and photography of the dress on the model makes the fabric look satin and silky but this dress has more of a hole-y texture. (like it was weaved out of straw).
It does run smaller. I'm normally a size 4 but bought a size 6- but since my bust (34c) is larger I put it on without a bra, and it was still pretty tight.
Overall the dress is really cute and sweet if you aren't expecting a "luxe" sheen dress. But if you were expecting to have the dress on screen it was kind of sad. When I tried it on I looked more like a flower girl/bridesmaid than a bride. (Wanted to wear this during the reception.) But looks def. a lot more casual looking than on screen with the model.
Will have to return the dress and search for a new reception dress...

What a gem!
I finally broke down and bought this little number. When I opened the package I was a little bummed because it didn't look that cute as the photo, but once it was on--adorable! I am 5'7" and 125 lbs. I am usually a size 4 in everything but based on a previous review, I ordered a 6 and am so glad I did! The 4 wouldn't have fit across the back. Also, the buttons are a little tricky by yourself. And the color is more buttercream yellow but I love it! I'm keeping it, it is so cute!

sweet but no give
I was drooling over this dress for weeks and finally clicked the order button. I bought a 4 as other reviews said it ran small. I am 5'4" and 124 lbs - slender. But this dress was too small across my back and I will need a 6. My fiance wasn't thrilled w. the dress because it was too "poofy". Also, the dress arrived all wrinkled and creased. Its a shame because of the material -- which has NO GIVE - its a netting type cloth, I am not sure you can iron it. Sadly, the search continues.

Beautiful dress!
Very sweet dress. Colour is definitely more pale butter yellow than any kind of off white. The cap sleeves are nice. I definitely think the dress needs a belt to pull it together. The material is scratchy but bearable for a special occasion. The only downside is the shipping - it arrives in a tiny box and is so creased and wrinkled. It's hard to even decide if it looks good before an intense steaming. For the price I imagined it arriving in better condition. However, that has nothing to do with the dress itself- it is lovely and perfect! I am 5'6 and the dress hit right at my knees.
