Wanted this to work so badly
In concept, I was completely amazed by this piece. I finally got it after months of wishing.
In practice however, I found it difficult to incorporate into my wardrobe for a couple of reasons. I think less of a nude color and more of a white would have made it more versatile. The darker beads in the middle are not as subtle as depicted - less silvery - and very noticeable - detracting from the lovelier pearls. I also think that if the collar hung a little bit lower, it would be more flattering - but that combined with the chunkiness of the necklace made it feel less delicate. I am a petite person, so it may be less overwhelming to taller individuals.
I think you have to have the right dress to pair with this, but it could be worth it to strike that right combination! Good luck, and I hope it works for you.
