Mycenaean Dress 4 5 4 4

Too much on top The silk fabric is very nice and the construction is good, although the back zipper easily catches on the fabric. The top of this dress is unfortunately very roomy. Too roomy, in fact, for the drape of the skirt. I was swimming in it, and am a 36 C with broad shoulders. The color is also not as flattering as I'd hoped and looks too drab against my hair and skin. This may be a hard shade for blondes to wear successfully. January 17, 2013

Very pretty I ordered this dress as a potential BM dress. It is beautiful in person. I absolutely love the back of the dress. The color is a darker ivory. It has a very vintage feel. It fit my taller bridesmaids better, and will be a keeper for my tallest BM (about 5'5''). In my opinion, if you are any shorter it will not be as flattering. June 7, 2012

Pretty, But Not Perfect I was looking for a dress with a vintage vibe. Because my wedding will be in August (and is outside) I wanted something short. This dress fit the bill. The color is a gorgeous bone/ivory. However, the fit was just not for me. It was definitely too short, for one. And the way that the top hangs was just not flattering for me. Ladies- if you are pear-shaped (like me) this is NOT the dress for you. I think the Mycenaean Dress would be perfect on someone with a larger chest and skinny legs. May 29, 2012

Great dress, very classy, fit info I took my measurements and measured at exactly an 8 according the the sizing chart. I have shopped at Anthropologie for years now, and usually wear a 6 there, but since this was my first BHLDN purchase I decided to go with the size chart. It ended up being too big around the arms and the waist too. I got the 6 and it fits perfectly. So my suggestion is to size down one after you measure yourself. Beautiful dress though. Love the rhinestone button on the top back. Also, I have an average sized chest (B/C depending on the brand) and I am able to just wear "dimmers" and no bra so that you can see the beautiful back. The color of the dress is also pretty true to the picture. Mine is the beige color. Hope this helps! May 3, 2012
