Vintage Inspired, Spring Magic
I purchased this dress in bisque from the Chicago location. The detail is simply stunning (the back is to die for) and layers of tool add beautiful movement. This dress is light weight and perfect for a spring, modern or rustic wedding. I promise you will feel magical. I would say this dress runs just slightly large. I purchased a size 2, i am 5'5 and 120lbs, 32D. I had alterations to the shoulders, lower back, hem, and added cups.
Some Cons (but you should know): This dress wrinkles easily. I recommend pressing a day before the wedding. The tool also tends to bunch together (my seamstress double stitched -or something like that- the bottom). This dress cannot be bustled. I eliminated most of the train. The belt shifts and unties easily. One could maybe sew in place? Also this dress isn't bra friendly -- go without, or add cups.
I paired my dress with BHDLN: heritage gloves & marquee crystal earrings

Ethereal, unique, and beautiful!
I wore this gown in champagne for my wedding on August 16, and it was just the perfect dress for me! It was flattering on my athletic, no-waist build and fit fairly true to size - I have a small bust and fairly wide ribs and waist, and usually wear a 10 in dresses - and this fit me snugly but almost perfectly out of the box. The only alterations needed were to take in the lace overlay at the shoulder hems - it was a little loose and bagged out at the sides - and to shorten the skirt and add a hook and loops for bustling.
It turned out perfectly, and I felt comfortable and beautiful all day long without having to worry or really think about the dress. It also moves beautifully, with the satin and all that tulle. I had picked out a gorgeous pair of "wedding" cowboy boots before finding a gown, so whatever I chose had to work in my mind with the boots - and I had my eye on this dress online for months before ordering. The other gowns I tried on locally just didn't quite tick all the boxes for me, but when I ordered this and tried it on, I knew it was the one.

Beautiful Wedding Dress
I wasn't planning to fall in love with a dress when I stepped into the BHLDN store in Beverly Hillsâ?¦ but I did. The Onyx in Champagne is stunning, and extremely flattering. I found that the shoulders were too loose for me, and had to have them taken in. The skirt of the dress has three layers to it, and had to be shortened. I wasn't extremely fond of the bustling my seamstress did, but she insisted it was the only way to do this type of dress. Ultimately, my sister-in-law bustled it at the wedding, and as you can see from one of my photos, it looked great. It got TONS of compliments. I highly recommend this one.
I ordered a Size 4 -- I'm 5'6 and 125lbs.

I went to a BHLDN store and tried on the Onyx gown in champagne, and I fell in love with it! It is so beautiful, light, and flowy.
I'm 5'4, 115lbs, B-cups, and I am usually in the 0-4 dress size range. I tried in sample in the store in a 4 and it swallowed me up. So I ordered the dress in a 2 and it is almost perfect! I will have to get it shortened (not surprising) and get the top taken in a tiny bit but that is all. I can't wait to wear this beautiful dress on my wedding day!
