Beautiful Dress
My dress arrived today, and the material and craftsmanship is quite beautiful. The color is slightly darker than the picture, but still quite lovely. Even though I ordered a size down, per the advice of the other reviews, it was still a little large on the waist and will have to be taken in about an inch. Also the skirt was a little fuller than I had imagined based on the picture, but looks very glamorous! Cannot wait to wear it for my rehearsal dinner!!

Just as cute as the photo.
I ordered and received this dress last week for my casual May 2013 wedding. It is going to be perfect. The picture is a very good representation and I was pleased with the quality when it arrived. I ordered a size four for my smallish 115 LB frame (5'3"). Great fit generally, but will need some altering in the bust (too big). I am also going have the seamstress add a sash at the waist (maybe black or crimson). This will give it that little extra oomph. So glad I ordered it. Never had to step into a single horrid bridal shop. Yay! Thank you BHLDN!

beautiful and original, but too big
this is a beatuiful dress! i instantly fell in love with it and was not dissapointed when i finally saw it. simple, elegant, sturdy fabric, beautiful details (i love the little buttons in the back) however it definitely sizes large!! i would say do not hesitate to size down, especially if you are betweeen sizes. i was between a 6/8 ( 36.5, 29, 37), a little larger in the waist and the bust, and so ordered an 8. it was too big all over, waist, hips and bust. i have reordered in a 6 and a; hoping it will fit!!

Such a classy reception dress.
The moment I saw this dress I knew it would be perfect for the end of my reception/leaving the reception. Super retro silhouette, classic shape, and I love the summer fun of the cut out in the back.
The last BHLDN dress I ordered--the green Fine Line dress--was a little loose (I had ordered a 2). I decided to take a risk and order a 0. The 0 is still too big on me (especially the top of the dress). I still love it, however, and my mom and fiance said you cannot tell that it is too big when looking at it. All of that to say, order a size down and you should be okay.
The material is thick and sturdy, but has a swish and sway to it. I'm in love with this purchase. If you're on the fence, I say go for it. The dress is really stunning in person.
