Gorgeous dress!
I read all of the previous reviews before ordering this dress and have to agree that the dress looks a bit different in person:
- the color is more of a bright navy blue
- the top part is not as sheer
But it's a great fit! I measured myself (size 4) and it fits perfectly, no weird creases. I love the flowy-ness of the material and the details.
One other hint is that it does not have extra straps to hang it up. I'm worried that the sheer material will stretch if I put it on a hanger, so I'm storing it flat.

Adorable... but HUGE
I recently ordered these for my bridesmaids for my wedding. They are so cute in person and really well made, but even though they all measured the dresses were HUGE on everyone. We have to send them back and unfortunately they don't make them small enough for my little sister since she usually wears a 0, and this 0 is more like a 4. So size down when ordering!

Pretty dress but not as pictured on line
The color is not quite the same as on line, but it's a pretty navy blue. What is very disappointing about the dress is that the upper bodice is not sheer at all like it appears on line. I think that takes away from the uniqueness and darling look of the dress. It is apparent that the dress pictured on line in the blue color has an entirely different sheer fabric than the actual dress. Look at the red version of the dress and you will see what it looks like in a more opaque material.

Hard to buy the right size
I bought this for myself, and as a professional tailor, I'm pretty good at measuring myself and ordering the right size. However, when I bought the size suggested by the fit guide, the dress was way too big. For this style, the underbust measurement is critical for a proper fit, but BHLDN doesn't use it in their sizing. As a second-best, I would recommend buying the size that will fit your bust measurement. The waist and hip measurements are almost irrelevant given the style's gathered high waistline. Without the underbust, it's difficult to determine your size, but the bust measurement will get you close.
