Pretty, but not for me.
I purchased a size 6 after reading that the skirt runs small. I am normally a size 4. The size 6 was snug, but an 8 definitely would have been too big. I didn't like the way it looked on me. I thought it was a lot puffier than it looks in the picture. Overall, it's a very cute skirt, but not for me. I think it would look best on someone very tall and very thin.

Runs really small! Size up!
The band around the waist is tiny.
