Spun Gold Topper
There are 2 shades of gold available
I recently went to BHLDN in Beverly Hills to try this cover up over the ivory Niceties Dress. On the rack, I saw and grabbed the deeper gold color that the previous reviewers mentioned. However while I was trying it on, the sales associate mentioned she had the "other shade" in the back and brought out a color much closer to the one pictured! The fit and length was perfect over the dress, so I purchased the lighter shade of gold in M/L (for reference, I wear a 36D).
The topper may snag easily as I noticed a couple of frayed strands on the shoulder area of the deeper gold version (possibly from the hanger).
If interested in this cover up, I recommend calling a store to inquire if they have both shades available.

pretty, but darker than anticipated
Although the fabic is very pretty and delicate and it fits perfectly (I'm a size 10 and usually wear a 36C. I purchased the M/L), I'm debating returning this cover up because the color is not what I anticipated. In the picture, it looks like a matte gold or camel taupe. In person, it looks like a deep burnished gold, almost copper. After viewing all 3 images on the website, I think image #3 is the only one that accurately depicts the color; however, it is difficult to tell because the background on the image is bright orange.

I just received this today, and I'm happy with it. The color is a little darker and more burnished than in the photo -- more of a true gold than a pale gold. The weight is perfect and the fabric feels very luxurious.
My only qualm is that there are a lot of loose ends in the crochet work, which makes it sloppy upon close inspection. I'm debating sending it back, but knotting and trimming the frayed strings is an easy enough fix. For $180, though, I expected a polished product.
