Stunning in every detail.
I tried this dress on a whim while at the BHLDN Houston store.
As soon as I saw myself in the mirror, I knew this was the dress.
First off, it is so much more impressive in person. The detailing from the flowers on the skirt to the little beads on the sleeves to the buttons down the back are just phenomenal, unlike any other dress I've seen. With so many dresses being a dime a dozen, it's so refreshing to find a gown that has had care put into it.
I was originally worried about the sleeves and chest part based on the online images, but once wearing it, they were some of my favorite parts.
I'm much smaller on my upper body than my lower, so finding a dress that highlighted my small waist while making my derby thighs magically disappear made me not only look amazing, but FEEL amazing.
To address a previous review, my skin had no reactions to the dress.
The only issue I came across was some of the buttons on the small of my back, by my waist, would come undone. The eyeholes for the buttons just seemed really loose/too big to hold the button. I put my bridesmaids on button duty, and they made sure I was always put together, but it was a little bit of a bummer, since the dress is otherwise so perfect.
Besides that, it was exactly how it should have been - looked incredible, felt comfortable, didn't need to be altered. I received an unbelievable amount of compliments on it as well, which of course always helps a bride feel good. :)
Side note: I'm 5'10", so the dress fell on me the same way it does on the model in the image. I was able to pull off flats with it.

Beautiful dress, even better in person
Like the other reviewers, I tried the dress on as soon as I had a chance. My mother found it online, and I never looked for another dress. I ordered my usual dress size and it fit perfect. No alterations needed, no need to 'lose a few pounds,' and I'll be able to eat at my own wedding -thank goodness! I'm always concerned about the rib cage/waist area being too tight but this was very comfortable. The color is lovely (taupe), the fit is great, the upper netting is a bit scratchy (I only noticed it on top of my shoulders) but I got used to it quickly.
The details are amazing and the Swarovski crystals are a really nice touch (as well as the buttons along the back). It's as fun and swingy as it looks in the photo.
As for the length, the dress really would be better on a taller woman, I think. At 5'8" I feel I need at least a 3" heel to get the right look (4" would be even better). I had flats on when I tried the dress and I looked like the dress was wearing me.
Overall, 5 stars!
**** BHLDN... if you could add a fabric swatch with the dress, it would make life so easy. This 'taupe' color is particularly difficult to keep in mind when coordinating accessories.

Absolutely stunning
I was really excited to see this in person, and it did not disappoint! The picture is pretty accurate and I don't really have much else to add except two things: the sleeves seem a little lighter in person, and the skirt really isn't any poofier than this picture. Oh yes and I didn't notice any scratchiness when I was wearing it, but then again I don't have sensitive skin.

Looks sort of Granny-Like in person
The netting with applique and beading liked a bit more like a little old lady. The bottom is beautiful, but the top was uncomfortable and a bit more tacky mother of the bride than bride. If you are a very young bride (under 30), you might be able to pull this off if you can stand the itchiness. The rhinestone buttons down the back are beautiful though.
