Crescendo Gown 4 5 1 1
Miss Dress This dress is so beautiful that I named her, Miss Dress, and I wore her for my October wedding in Maine. I also wore the Cherished Heirloom Scarf, Queen Anneâ??s Lace cuff and the Moonlit peep-toes (that is, for about an hour until changing into a pair of flats). The Crescendo gown is beautiful and very unique. I got so many compliments on the gown. It was my seamstress who loved the dress the most and she couldnâ??t say enough about how simple, elegant and well made the dress was. The gown seemed to run a little small (about a size) but it does have a seam allowance. It is a beautiful color of golden ivory which is not a true (almost white) bridal ivory; I think that the photos represent the color well. I was able to have my gown shortened by a talented bridal seamstress who was able to keep the integrity of the dress by taking it up a little at each tier. I found the gown comfortable to wear and my seamstress had built a corset into the inside for support. I also had the strap/bow removed so the dress was strapless which was a very easy change to make. November 9, 2012
