Love Love Love! I am glad this dress is back in stock as I bought mine in January and wanted to give it a review, but it was no longer available...until now! This dress is GORGEOUS. I took a risk buying on line (I hadn't even stepped into a bridal store yet) and I am just so happy I did. It arrived within a week all the way to Australia. Now I have to wait until November to wear it. It's really difficult not to keep taking a peek at it! The quality is beautiful, and I agree with other reviewers...it's much more beautiful in real life. The little flowers underneath the first layer are subtle and quirky. The lace is so lovely and everything about the dress is really well made. I am a size 0 (6 in Australia) with a small bust. It fit perfectly, and the extra padding on the bust made me look lovely and curvy :-) Big thumbs up from me! xo May 30, 2012
Gorgeous - just too small I made the mistake of not measuring myself before ordering this dress. First - it's gorgeous. The materials are stunning. It's just an amazing, quirky-yet-glamorous dress. The other reviewer is right that it is tea length (I'm 5'6"), though it seems to fall just below the knee on the models. I was sad because, in my eagerness to have the dress I ordered it on faith in a size 14 because I am an age-old Anthropologie shopper, sizes 12/14 always fit, and, well, I was impatient and didn't have a tape measure at hand. This dress looked like an 8 on the hanger, and when I attempted to zip it was nearly 8 inches of un-zippable space between the two sides. I had to admit that even losing 20lbs before my wedding (a year away) wasn't going to make this dress fit me. So, warning to you all: please please measure yourself and maybe order up. It is really stunning in person if you like the pics. November 6, 2011
BEAUTIOUS!! Better in the flesh When I saw a giant white box delivered to my home I was nothing more than excited!! And the gown did not disappoint one bit! The dress is absolutely beautiful and I don't think the photography on the website does it justice. The Gown is a vintage ivory tone and has a slightly tonal darker liner so the under body of the skirt w/ the flower applique is more visible when you see it in person. It's like an organza veiled jewelry box of encrusted flowers!! The construction is impeccable! It has an inside bustier w/ a zipper that really holds you in w/ a nice tonal darker grosgrain ribbon detail accent. I feel very secure in the dress! I am 5'4" and according to the BHLDN size chart my measurements are a size 8 on the d.o.t. The length on the dress for my frame is about tea-length [mid calf] and I think it looks very sophisticated and surpisingly slimming! I would highly recommend following the guide & speaking to a stylist about questions because I found them to be very helpful in determining a size. I would say there is no room for give so if you're in between sizes, possibly consider sizing up and then getting it taken in or eating salad for the next couple weeks! Definitely has that heirloom feel I was going for! Thanks BHLDN you've made one HappyBride2B! September 29, 2011
