Lovely dress with hidden perks
I would be remiss if I didn't start by saying the dress is not quite as vibrant in person. It is still a lovely shade of deep blue, but I found mine doesn't have the same peacock-y, almost teal cast that is pictured. Additionally, the grosgrain sash that came with my dress is navy and not bright as shown in these images.
From there, though, there is not much to complain about! I am six feet tall and the dress hits the floor in flats. If you are shorter you may need to have it hemmed.
Some features not mentioned in the description: the bust is lined with cups into which you could insert some of those push-up chicken cutlet-looking enhancers if your bra won't do that for you. There are rubber strips and an inside elastic strap to help hold everything up, as well.
For reference, I measure 36-26-38 but was happiest in the size 8, not in the 6 as the fit guide indicated. I could zip the 6 but it wasn't comfortable. A girl likes to be able to eat and breathe! I'll take my chances with the slightly looser top.
