This was my wedding dress and I loved it.
Although I agree, the dress runs large, after alterations and ordering a size down it worked brilliantly. I am usually a size 6 and ordered a 4 as recommended and it was still slightly large. it fit alright in the hips but not so much up top. I loved the lace details and the swanky train. I got many compliments on the dress and felt very happy with it! I tagged a few pictures of the dress on BHDLN's facebook page as well. Hope this helps!

This is it!
I was apprehensive about ordering a gown online, but the other reviews and sizing guides are accurate. I ordered a 6 based on my measurements 37-29-39. The waist and hips fit perfectly. The bust is large and I will need a combination of cups sewn in and it taken in a bit to get the correct fit. I was worried this was a dress for a skinny person but the fabric is the perfect weight, not too heavy but doesn't show every lump and bump either. Lightweight spanx should be fine. The color is a nice ivory that looks great with my lighter skin tone and the contrast of white lace. I still need to meet with my tailor, but I'm wondering what others have done for a bustle for dancing?

I purchased a 0 based on other reviews. Like many other reviewers, I thought the top had an odd fit. Overall the dress probably flatters more curvy women.. it does not have much shape to it. The lace shoulder pieces in the front seemed very wide, and the closure on the back was higher on me than on the model. Overall ended up being pretty awkward and was returned.
The quality seemed fine.

This was it!
I purchased this dress for our May 2015 wedding, and it turned out to be a perfect fit. The wedding ceremony is outside, and this dress will be perfect because it isn't too heavy (unlike many other wedding dresses I tried on). It's also a gorgeous ivory color, which I found more flattering on my lighter skin tone. If you are petite and thin, keep in mind that you will likely need alterations done. For reference, I am 5'3" ~107 lbs 32C; I will have to have the dress taken in at the sides and up at the shoulders (which will also help to bring the waist to the correct spot) and the bottom hemmed. If you are small-chested like I am, you can easily have cups sown into the dress so you don't have to worry about a bra. I feel beautiful and classy in this dress and can't wait to wear it next May.
