I've contemplated about this dress for months; it looks so gorgeous but I am not sure how it's going to fit me. I emailed Sara from customer support back and forth with tons of questions and she helped me a lot with measurements and fit guide. I'm glad I asked because if I just went ahead with my usual sz 12 I'm sure the hips won't fit. When I received the dress it looks even more gorgeous than the picture. It's about a shade darker, fit just like Sara told me it would. It's ethereal and the details are exceptional. I have a full hips (sz 32) and wear 36B, so size 14 fit my hips but the bust area is loose. Nothing that a padded-bra won't solve.

Not a lot of give
This dress is a gorgeous color and beautifully made. Everything about it is very sweet - from the bow to the scalloped slip. The material is pretty stiff and doesn't have any give to it. It reminds me of a very 50s fabric - soft and light, but a bit "wow, we can make synthetics!" feeling. With this material, I feel that the cut of the dress is a little challenging. The sleeves were a little tight, though the dress fit in the waist and hips (I'm an hourglass shape and often my hips end up being wide for fitted dresses, but this time it was the shoulders/arms). Also, this fabric creases easily and arrived looking a bit crooked on my body. Taking it to the dry cleaners is a must before you go out. I'm buying this again, though I wish I had looked more carefully at the exchange policy - as in there is none. You have to return and reorder - so figure that in when you buy! Odd for a retailer that only has one flagship store.

cutest dress!
i really liked the look of this dress on the model. i am looking for an untraditional, yet classic wedding dress. i ordered this dress and thought it was just as beautiful when i saw it in person. this dress did not work out for me in the long run. i am 5'2" and the dress made me look really short. because the bottom edge is scalloped, bringing the hem up would not be easy. also, the pocket lining is more visible than i liked for a wedding dress. at the end of the day this dress was beautiful, wonderfully made and i wish it could have worked for me.
