Mycenaean Dress

Not as plain as it looks.
I ordered this dress to wear to my civil marriage. I know it might look a little "unspectacular", but this is looked versatile enough to be able to wear again after the wedding so I thought I'd give it a go (Garden Party anyone?). Wasn't really sure what this style of dress would do to me, since I have curves and this dress doesn't ;-)
Once the dress arrived and I put it on, I was in Grecian heaven. Very flattering cut (covers the dimply thighs and the love handles like a charm =D) , love the back cutout with it's little sparkle button. Still wearable with a low back bra and wide spaced shoulder straps. Had ordered a size 8 and this dress is true to size, at least, that's what I think when I wear it. It feels so airy and flow-y that I'm not sure if I should have sized down.
The length hits me a little lower than on the picture, but being 5ft2, that's not surprising.
A note about the colour of the dress: yes, it is that pale with a slight hint of lavender purple. I'm a medium tan so wearing that color looks great!
