Painted Petal Robe
DO NOT BUY!!!!
I purchased 9 of these for my bridesmaids after a month of research and words describe how sourly disappointed I am of this product. Similar to a previous review, it was even cheaper feeling than a hospital gown and when I tried to wash one to soften it, it turned into a crinkled mess that took over 45 minutes to iron out.
I do not write reviews often, but when dealing with the stress of wedding planning I'd like to help out any other fellow brides-to-be by skipping over this product.
I am very disappointed in BHLDN and heartbroken I have to go back to searching for something special for my bridesmaids.

Beautiful if you want to show it all...
I was so excited to find robes that were feminine without a loud Jimmy Buffett print. I ordered 1 to be sure it would work for my bridesmaids and I. Well, if you are getting ready with any natural light around you, there would be nothing left to the imagination. For $65 I was expecting a much higher quality cotton. The fabric is very thin and rather rough. Unless you have the time to sew a lining in this garment, you will have to have another layer underneath. I was disappointed to say the least.

Beutiful & Better Than I was Imagining
I purchased this gown as I liked that it was hand painted...
After I had purchased it only then did I read the current review about it and was worried.
As I had chosen to pay a little more for this one as a treat to myself.
It arrived yesterday and it fits lovely. I am quite petite and this length is perfect...
The fabric is light and comfortable and the pattern is beautiful.
I am very happy with my purchase and will now purchase three more for my bridesmaids

Beautiful but not flattering
I fell in love with this robe online! I am petite- 5"3 and 120lbs, and the small seems way too big for me. It isn't as flattering as I wanted it to be. Its very baggy and is longer in the back than the front I believe. Very thin material and a lot of it! If you look at the photo of the arms you'll kinda see how it is sewn up the arm to cinch off the extra material. Definitely can't wear this in my getting ready photos as the description suggests. Too slouchy- needs to be tailored in so theres not so much material. The under layer of the robe- the left side- ties to the inside of the other piece, then you have the large belt for both of them. It was hard for me to get it to look right. Who knew a robe could be difficult? It kind of has the feel of a thin hospital robe- BUT is such a pretty pattern I am keeping it. While it was a bit disappointing I still enjoy using it! If you like it, you should give it a try, just don't have extremely high expectations.
