Not for tall women.
This is a beautiful dress and the price is right. I tried it on in the store and it was just skimming the floor. I would prefer it to be a touch longer but I could live with the length since I will be wearing flat sandals at my wedding. So I decided to purchase because it is perfect for my beach wedding. When I received the dress it was at least 3 inches too short! None of the sales associates seemed to know why the sample dress was so much longer. They shipped me the next size up, size 6, hoping the larger size would be longer but it was still much too short. Sadly, I had to return it. Luckily I found this same dress at another store that offered extra length. So I got my dream dress after all!

I already purchased a dress from David's Bridal when I saw this one and fell in love with it!! I'm so happy I decides to get it anyway! It's not only the most gorgeous thing I've ever seen, but comfortable too! I wore it all night and never wanted to take it off!

I fell in love with this dress as soon as I laid eyes on it online. I ordered it online because I don't hav a retail store anywhere close to where I live. I was really hesitant in what size to order because according to my measurements I should be a size 2. My measurements are Bust 34, Waist 27, Hip 37, I'm 5ft5in talk and I weigh 124lbs. My wedding is in April and size 2 was backorderd and wouldn't ship till March 31st, which was cutting it way too close because what if it didn't fit and needed it to get altered. Anyways, I was persistent because THIS is the dress I wanted. So my next option was ordering a size up which was a size 4 or a size down which is a 0. After reading reviews and noticed that some people said the dress was slightly larger I decided to order a 0 (taking a risk). It fit like a glove! Thank goodness the 2 was backorderd because I think if I would've ordered the 2 it would've been a little too big. The 0 fits me just perfect at the waist... A little smaller and it would've probably not zipped up (but it doesn't feel too tight on me). I'm a 34 C and the top part fits just fine but the mesh upper part feels a little loose (it doesn't look bad at all though). The dress doesn't feel heavy at all, I'm sure I will be comfortable all night. I love how the tail looks but in so afraid of people stepping on it and ruinng the dress so I'm thinking about cutting it floor length (I'm not sure yet). Overall I recommend this dress if you want someone beautiful, classy, angelic, romantic and comfortable. It has a beige underwater which I thought was a little to dark when I first took it out if it's packaging, but as soon as I tried it on the beige just blends in with your skin. LOVVEEEE IT!

Weird color for certain skin tones
I loved this dress online, but was a bit disappointed with how it looked in person. There have been a ton of great reviews, and it is a really pretty dress, but I just wanted to provide my own opinion in case it might help others.
My main concern was that the color of the liner was nearly the exact same color as my skin, which gave a very naked effect. The material was not nearly as high quality as some other dresses I tried on. I thought the cut of the dress was not very flattering on my shape--on the thin side of average, but with wide hips. Also, I was a little disappointed in my stylist. I tried on a sample size 8, which was very large and clipped on, and when I asked her what size to order, she suggested ordering that same size so I could "get it altered to fit me perfectly." I'm still confused about why she couldn't just tell me the proper size to order to minimize the amount of alterations needed, especially since BHLDN doesn't do alterations, so it's not like they are making business off of telling me to order the wrong size.
