This dress is just lovely. I struggled to find something I really loved, but the ease and simple elegance of this dress sold me. The silk is very delicate, so be careful with your heels!. Easy alteration to make it perfect, I had the straps shortened at the shoulders and the hem taken up. I added a simple silk sash to accentuate the waist.

I fell in love with this dress and waited for so long for it to go on sale! Other than having to make the waist a little smaller it was a perfect fit! The beading up top was perfect because it was not to glitzy.

Ethereal, romantic, and comfortable - a perfect wedding gown!
I had been eyeing this gown before I even got engaged last fall, and loved everything about the photos -- but I was very hesitant to order a ready-to-wear gown online. We've all heard the racket about needing to purchase expensive, made-to-order wedding gowns that take 6+mos to produce, so I was naturally skeptical. When it arrived, this gown dissuaded all of my concerns -- it is light, ethereal, and expensive-looking, yet incredibly well made and polished. The beading is beautiful, seems like it will hold up well, and not too gaudy; and the skirt is everything you could hope for in a flowy, romantic gown. I agree with one previous reviewer that the fabric on the gown is incredibly prone to snagging or tearing, so you'll need to be quite careful with it on your wedding day -- but other than that I can find no flaws in the dress.
The fit is also a dream; to also echo another reviewer, the only part you really need to worry about is the waist. Everything else will fit or need to be tailored down -- and nothing fits so snug that you're given awkward bulges anywhere. I originally ordered the size 6 (pictured below), but ended up re-ordering a 4 as the six was too wide.
I know this dress is no longer available, and don't know whether Bhldn intends on producing more -- but if, for some reason, more flood in, do yourself a favor and buy this dress. You won't regret it.
See photos of me in the dress below -- keep in mind it hasn't yet been tailored, so the waist is a bit too wide and the straps are a tad long.

I do not normally leave reviews for products but I felt the other reviews were very helpful so I wanted to return the favor and offer some additional information. Since this might be your wedding dress (and you are ordering it online) you want to know lots of infomration, right?
First, the dress is absolutely gorgeous and looks just like it does in the photo with one small exception. The outer layer of fabric (the one that is gathered) is very very fragile. It will catch on anything and is very gauzy and sheer. It is like a very high quality and soft medical gauze almost. The photo makes the outer layer appear more substantial than it is.
On the size, I was very surprised. As long as you can fit the waist, pretty much any size will fit. I am normally a size 12 (large bust, large hips, small backside, average to large waist) and bought the size 6. I will have to lose about an inch to make it fit and maybe two to make it loose. So the waist is really the measurement to pay attention to on this dress. I am normally very critical of any dress on me, but this dress is very flattering to shoulders, arms, bust, waist (if it fits), and hips. The backless portion even hits at the area least likely to give you bad bulge issues.
The length is long (even with my height of 5'9'') but that is to be expected. The one thing I woudl like to stress is how fragile the outer layer is - one slight step on it and it will absolutely rip.
The sale price bumped it up to 5 stars. I do not think I would have paid full price for the dress even though it is gorgeous. If I had tried it on in a store first rather than online ordering, I probably would have bought it even at full price.
The packaging is also very nice and the dress arrives securely.
