Golden Poppies Dress
Buy this if you want to look like a little girl in an easter dress
The dress looks great on the model sure...she has the right skin tone for it, and they've photo-shopped enough of the dress to make it the shape of the skirt look different and the color tones look prettier than it actually is in person.
In person this dress is pretty much a disaster. The fabric online looks like a cream color with golden/grey floral print, in person the entire dress looks like a dingy shade of yellow (think old and yellowed, not pretty). Against my pale skin it washed me out. The bow looks super cheep in person too, the ribbon is thin, not a thick satin as it appears to look online, and finally the shape of the dress looks like the skirt should fall flat on the model, but the silk is stiff and it puff outs.
As for fit, I'm 5"9" the skirt fell just below my knees, anyone shorter will probably have to get it hemmed. I purchased a size twelve and I'm small up top so the top ran large, rest of the item fit the waist fine.
The over all look was completely unflattering, it looks like a bad vintage dress that sat and yellowed, and/or a dress you would buy for a 5 year old for Easter. And hey, if that's you're think have at it, but I was expecting a cleaner, more adult looking dress.
