Wide in the shoulders, tight in the bust I'm dissappointed this didn't work out because I was very excited about it. I'm 5'4", 117 lbs, 34 C bust, and the shoulders were far too wide, and the neckline did not lay down flat to my chest. It was also a bit tight in the bust. It's not meant for someone curvier on top. If I had gone down from a size 2 to a 0, the bust would have completely flattened my chest and been uncomfortable. Not sure if it could be altered, but the gathered/ruched silk made me really nervous about messing with it. So sad this wasn't the one for me, but it would be perfect on someone else. Perfect I"m wearing this top with the Beautific Ball Skirt at my wedding, and when I showed it to a coworker she said, "It's so elegant and youthful!" And it is. The buttons are a lovely detail, and though I worried the overlapping in the front would be bulky, it wasn't at all. It's lovely and beautiful in every way. It is soft and light as a sunbeam but somehow substantial, too. Be aware that it is "cropped," which goes perfectly with the high waist of the Ball Skirt mentioned above. December 12, 2012
