Perfect for my city wedding
This was a wonderful dress for my Friday night city wedding! The fit and length were nearly perfect(slightly too large in the bust - but an easy fix) and the look is far more polished than it appears in the online photos where the model is standing in an odd hunched pose. I would definitely recommend purchasing!

Disappointing quality and fit
In the picture, this dress looks chic and elegant, but it did not live up to the photographs or the reviews.
First, the dress arrived incredibly wrinkled. Not a good sign for how it would arrive at my wedding since it would be traveling there by plane.
Second, I was disappointed with the quality of the fabric. Not terrible, but just not what I was expecting, given my experience with other BHLDN dresses in a similar range.
Third, I agreed with the other reviewers about the sizing issues with the lining. I ordered a 10, which fit me in other dresses. This dress was probably two sizes too big on me, but I could not have ordered a smaller size because I could barely fit into the lining. Be prepared to have this dress re-lined if you order it.
Overall, I was disappointed with the quality of this dress and I returned it.

lovely dress
i was very excited about this dress when i found it. i read the reviews, and still decided to go with my normal size 6. when i received it, i agreed with previous reviewers that is it very tight around the hips. when i brought it to my tailor, she said for a shorter woman, it probably would not be as tight on the hips, but for someone my height, the "hips" on the dress did not hit where my actual hips are. after our meeting we decided that returning it and getting the larger size 8 was the best bet, and then bringing everything in from there to fit my body perfect.
the size 8 gave me plenty of room in the hips, and the actually quality of material and craftsmanship was better in the 8 than the 6.
i am really happy with the dress, and the adjustments my tailor made for me.

Gorgeous
I love this dress. The material is so dreamy and has a nice weight to it. I can move around pretty easily, although I agree that the lining is a little tight. I'm smaller on top and had to have the bodice taken in (and I still have to wear a push-up to fill it out). My one issue with this dress is that it's been really difficult for me to find shoes that match it. I've bought and returned six pairs already. I'm 5'7", 130 pounds and the size 8 leaves room for a 2-3" heel. But the search continues for one that will either match or contrast.
