Style: 19945096

Rife with embroidered fronds and French-knotted buds, our vintage-inspired A-line dress is made of soft linen and draped with an overlay of sheer organdy. Featuring a crossed v-neckline, a leather-piped belt to cinch your waist and a dramatically flared hem, this piece is an exquisite combination of texture and shape. As the detachable train is quite substantial, we recommend removing it before schmoozing and dancing. Interior corset and bra cups for extra support. Hidden back zip. Silk, linen, cotton, leather; silk-cotton lining with nylon horsehair hemline for soft shape. Professionally clean. Imported.

Trumpeted Pavot Gown 5 5 1 1
Absolutely amazing! So I recently had a dress disaster at another well known wedding store (hint: I said 'no' to the dress) three weeks before my wedding and I turned to BHLDN.com to save me. I ordered three of their dresses to try on at home and this was one of them. First let me say, the shipping time is impeccable. Ordered on a Tuesday, and all three dresses arrived on the following Thursday, and that is with regular shipping service. Now to the dress. This is one of the loveliest articles of clothing I've ever had the pleasure of trying on. The zip up the back of the dress, hides another zipped up panel underneath (much like the back of a strapless bra) that is designed to help give the dress extra support to the bust area. It's such a small detail that makes an incredible difference in the dress. I'm a 36DD and was able to slip into the 10 and I feel I can actually wear it without a bra because it is so incredibly well structured, but still allows a lot of movement. Once you've got yourself zipped in, you hook the train onto the back of the dress (it's detachable). I love that you can attach the train for the walk down the aisle, then detach it for a night of dancing! The belt has no holes it just slips through the buckle portion which makes it completely adjustable. The dress has weight to it, but it didn't feel like too much dress at all. The halter is more for show than anything else, as the dress is structured enough to not really need to rely on the straps holding you or the dress up. The flower detailing throughout is stunning and it's such a perfect length. Amazing! I'm a fan of Anthro in general, but they've outdone themselves with the quality and selection of gowns they have on BHLDN. May 6, 2011
