Love this dress
I bought this dress in grey last fall for a very high profile black tie military ball . I was invited as a special guest because I made the cake for all 500 guests. Working on the giant cake all day I had about 5 minutes to get ready . Although my hair most likely had buttercream in it, and my makeup job was lacking, the dress alone transformed me from a stressed out baker into an effortlessly elegant woman! Best purchase ever! I'm back looking to get this dress in softer colors for a wedding cake shoot I'm planning for my business. If I could afford to buy it in every color I would!
The only thing that troubled me about the fit was that it is (as seen in the picture ) tight in the boobs... I'm a size 6, but got an 8 to keep the girls in check. I'm a 36 D, and they still popped out a bit...
I'm super tall, 5' 10" and wore 3" heals and the dress still touched the floor.

I actually wore this dress for my wedding. I never set out to wear a simple strapless dress. But I went to the Beverly Hills store, tried this on for kicks, and fell in love. It's a timeless silhouette that fit off the rack. How could I say no?
The quality of the dress is great, especially for the price. The tulle is the softest tulle I've ever felt. I was a bit worried that the bottom of the dress would fray by the end of the night, but miraculously it didn't. The twist bust looks very luxurious. The bust has openings if you want to add more padding, so you don't have to wear a bra at all. It could probably use a bit thicker lining, but it's fine if you wear nude panties. I also bought a thicker satin sash, as the one that comes with it felt a bit too casual. Everyone loved the dress, and I got a few, "Is that vintage?" which I loved. The color was perfect and absolutely lovely in the sun. I wore the dress with lace-up boots, and it looked awesome. As for sizing, it fit me true to size. I'm 5'10" 36B size 10-12 waist and I bought a size 12. The length was perfect with boots.
Sidenote: I later realized how similar this dress is to Grace Kelly's gown in "To Catch A Thief." Classy and timeless.

Used as my Wedding Gown
I actually used this bridesmaid dress as my wedding gown. My husband I had a simple, private ceremony with just the two of us, so I didn't need to go all out with my gown. I purchased it in the French Gray color and then added the Horticultural Society Sash to make it more bridal. I am 5'6" and 130 pounds, 34 B, and a size 4 fit perfectly. There is also an internal bustier that provided enough support that I didn't have to wear a strapless bra. However, it was long on me. I had to wear three inch heels to avoid getting it hemmed. The material is beautiful, light and flowy! This dress was perfect for my low key occasion. I also tried it on in the cream color in the store and found that option to be beautiful as well - if you wanted to use it as a simple wedding gown in the traditional ivory coloring.
