This was my #1 favorite dress going into my BHLDN appointment! First dress I tried on and it was beautiful! Buttons were missing from the back, which as I read in reviews was very common with this dress. Dress fit true to size, I am normally a 4 and tried on a 4. Although dress is beautiful- I found my dream dress in another BHLDN dress! Included a photo, for reference- I am 5'1" (but was wearing about 4-5" heals) and 120 lbs.

Of the 100+ dresses I tried, this was The Perfect One
This gown is the perfect blend of elegance, romance, class and attractiveness. The plunging neckline was a bit much for me (34C), so I took in the front by about an inch to help give this dress an extra boost of conservatism. With that out of the way, let me do my best to describe this gorgeous gown.
In my lifetime and relationship past, I was THAT bride that most bridal salons hated. I had tried on more than 100 gowns (no joke) and had only "liked" others--they didn't seem to suit my body type (athletic, slender, self-conscious of my slightly broader hips with a slim profile). The other dresses felt too heavy, too "old fashioned", some were lovely but not "for me". I began to grow afraid I wouldn't find a gown at all. Some of the dresses I fell in love with online did not appear the same in person--they had gaudy beads, too poofy, accentuated my bigger hips, etc. Then, I met this beauty! As soon as I tried it on, I got that "glow" that made me feel like a bride and that the dress actually was right for me. It was light, airy, fancy enough for a wedding but not screaming "I'm the BRIDE!" It was sleek and extremely slimming (what girl doesn't want that!). I normally wear a size four in real life (SOMEtimes a two, sometimes a six), and for this dress, I wore a two. The gown was still a touch loose, so heads up!
My venue was outdoors (mountain top historic house), and the gown fit the garden/outdoor feel perfectly. IT had a certain flow and moved wonderfully as I walked through the grass, and the lighter tulle/lace overlay breathed enough to keep me surprisingly cool as our temperature soared to 90 degrees! The silk slip definitely had the champagne/golden hued feel to it but was not garish nor "shiny" as some other designers tend to have (aka looking cheap or wrinkly in photos). The slip hugs your curves but is not enough of a contrast to give you that nude look that other gowns can.
The lace itself is exquisite. Other gowns in this price range have lace that looks less expensive---that looks like the lace you can purchase from a craft store on clearance. This lace is delicate, has feathered edges, is sewn on tightly... I could go on! My husband who hates lace even loved this because it didn't remind him of the lace curtains his family used to have.
I will complain about one thing. The buttons. The buttons, while gorgeous as they line the back, were not sewn in very well. Upon receiving my dress, two of them were loose and only needed a light tug to fall off. The day of the wedding, two more buttons fell off before walking down the aisle, but thanks to one of my best friends/bridesmaids, we were able to sew them back on.
All in all, I am beyond thrilled with my dress choice and will sing its praises, as it is much deserved. Bravo, Watters/Wtoo! It's everything I dreamt of.

I love my wedding dress. I got it altered at the top because I am bigger through my hips. I also added hombe dyed lace in turquoise under my dress....in between the top lace and slip dress. Everyone loved it. BUT the cons are....The day of my wedding 2 buttons fell off...no something a bride should have to worry about. Also there were no cups built in and there is not much structure to hide the lumps and bumps. I did have to have my dress shortened

This dress was perfect for my elopement at Lake Tahoe. It flows so well and was easy to move in the entire day (which included hiking, running, climbing in and out of an airplane, etc)! I felt like a beautiful version of myself on my wedding day.
For reference, I normally wear a size 2-4 and I ordered a 4 in this and it was extremely generous but my seamstress did a beautiful job and I had my dress back after my second fitting. The slip underneath is very strange but it's not attached so one could be made rather easily that fits the body better.
All in all, I loved this dress. I never thought I would go for so much lace, but it just felt right the first time I put it on at BHLDN Chicago.
