Romantic and Sexy
I walked into the Georgetown Anthropologie in Washington, DC on a whim and was able to secure a last minute walk-in appointment for the BHLDN salon. I never grew up dreaming of my wedding day, and I have always felt uncomfortable even looking at traditional wedding dresses online. My stylist, Lucy, was very thoughtful and picked this dress for me to try on last. It is an exquisite, romantic, and dare-I-say sexy gown. The structure of the dress brings to mind romantic tutus from the ballet Giselle. The sweet detailing on the bodice makes the plunging neckline more demure, and the skirt moves with ease. I adore the blush color, which I imagine would be flattering on most skin tones. I will need to get the dress tailored to shorten the straps and the skirt. I am thrilled with the dress and am scheming to find ways to wear it more than once!

beautiful dress, BUT...
This dress is absolutely beautiful. Soft, comfortable, light and airy. Just perfect. My HUGE complaint was about the service I received from BHLDN. I pre-ordered the dress and it was delayed, but BHLDN didn't actually inform me of this. I noticed the pre-order date suddenly changed on the website and then contacted them. This happened more than once. The gown was so delayed that I actually went down a dress size while waiting for it. I contacted BHLDN to change the size, but they ignored the email and shipped the too big gown several days later. I was initially just offered "free shipping" (so $10 off a $1600 purchase...not really that great). They eventually offered to send me a new dress, but at that point I did not trust them to deliver it on time so I kept my dress and paid almost $400 for alterations. So overall - a BEAUTIFUL dress, but really subpar service. Will reconsider ordering from BHLDN in the future.

Romantic and Whimsical
I didn't initially want to try on this dress based on the BHLDN photos, but seeing it in person was quite different. The underlay skirt is a beautiful blush color and the tulle makes for a romantic, whimsical look.
The back is so gorgeous with the sash tying just at the bottom and I love the soft detailing on the front of the bodice. I paired it with a floral jeweled headband and lovely beaded belt thanks to the stylist's help. I'm so excited to wear this dress for our desert themed summer wedding!

Saved the day!
After a bad tailoring experience with a more traditional wedding dress, I ended up getting the Tamsin 6 weeks before the wedding. I got the size 4 and the only tailoring that was required was to shorten the length. The color of the dress is unique and beautiful. Blush in some lights, but more ivory than the pictures make it look. My bridesmaids actually wore blush which I was initially worried about, but it looked much lighter than their dresses and complimented them nicely. The lace is delicate and gorgeous. The tulle is such that it makes you feel like you're floating on a cloud. It's soft and so romantic without being too poofy and cupcake-bride-y. Most importantly, it is SUPER comfortable. I didn't feel like I needed to diet or wear spanx with this dress and it was still flattering. I have kind of a boxy build, but this gave me a better waist. The only (minor) issue is that the satin belt tended to rise up, which was partly my fault because I cut off the strings that are set there to hold it in place. I don't think many other people noticed. I loved wearing this dress and was sad when I had to take it off! Oh, and the picture was taken towards the end of the night, and I didn't didn't have shoes on plus the tulle was pinned up in the back, so it doesn't look *quite* like it should. Still loved it though.
