Saved the day!
After a bad tailoring experience with a more traditional wedding dress, I ended up getting the Tamsin 6 weeks before the wedding. I got the size 4 and the only tailoring that was required was to shorten the length. The color of the dress is unique and beautiful. Blush in some lights, but more ivory than the pictures make it look. My bridesmaids actually wore blush which I was initially worried about, but it looked much lighter than their dresses and complimented them nicely. The lace is delicate and gorgeous. The tulle is such that it makes you feel like you're floating on a cloud. It's soft and so romantic without being too poofy and cupcake-bride-y. Most importantly, it is SUPER comfortable. I didn't feel like I needed to diet or wear spanx with this dress and it was still flattering. I have kind of a boxy build, but this gave me a better waist. The only (minor) issue is that the satin belt tended to rise up, which was partly my fault because I cut off the strings that are set there to hold it in place. I don't think many other people noticed. I loved wearing this dress and was sad when I had to take it off! Oh, and the picture was taken towards the end of the night, and I didn't didn't have shoes on plus the tulle was pinned up in the back, so it doesn't look *quite* like it should. Still loved it though.

This dress is exactly what I was looking for. The size 4 fit me perfectly- I am 5'7" 125 lbs, 34A. I was really hoping that it would come and that I would hate it and that it would feel cheap or fit wrong because it was WAY more than I wanted to pay. But, sigh, its prefect. It feels so comfortable and luxurious. It really is a beautiful dress. I am thinking about having it shortened after the wedding and keeping it to wear on my anniversary...anything to get to wear it more than once! Happy dress hunting ya'll!

This is the one!!!
I'm so excited to have a pink wedding dress!!! Its so classy and elegant, a perfect choice. It's funny because when I made my appt, I wrote all the styles I wanted to try and this one didnt even make the list. But the stylist said it fit really well and that I should try it; I'm so glad I did!! The length is pretty long so it will definitely need hemming, I will have the alterations place add some cups to the bust and that little thing to the back to hold up the train (forget what its called). Also, I'll probably have them take maybe a 1/2 inch from the straps but thats about it. You can't tell from the pics on here but the there is a slight train, mostly with the top layer. I also want to add a different belt, to give it some pop.
The back is very beautiful and plunges perfectly. It's see-through lace, unlike the front thats white lace over solid pink material. The neckline plunges to the perfect place, not too low but low enough to make it femininely sexy.
When I walked out my mom, auntie and two maid of honors gasped so I knew she was the one!

I said, "YES!"
I had my eye on Tamsin for months because of her color. She's not too pink and almost looks champagne in different lighting. The inside of the skirt is super soft and the top is not restricting at all. Not only is she light and comfortable, but the style is absolutely perfect for my outdoor, vintage-style garden wedding. I highly recommend this dress for someone who is looking for a comfortable, classic fit and a bit of fun!
Jamie at the Upper East Side store was such a pleasure as well. She described the background of Tamsin and filled me in on the little things, like how I won't be worrying about my posture all night in this gown. Since my venue is outdoors, she even let me step outside to see the color in the sunlight! Definitely visit Jamie!
