"The one" I found this online via the BHLDN website and was absolutely smitten from first glance. I ordered it after much hesitation because I wasn't sure I was crazy about the bow or how it would drape over my not-rail-thin body. I'm having an outdoor ceremony in Colorado in December and my wedding theme is super vintage, 1920ish, and I just had to have this dress. It came in the mail and I could not believe how much more beautiful this dress is in person! It is a slightly darker ivory than pictured, but it makes the floral pattern stand out more with such a soft feminine elegance that you have to see to believe. The bow seems much less exaggerated as well as it does on the model. It's not distracting at all! I'm also obsessed with the train as it truly made me feel like a bride. The buttons on the back of the dress send it over the top and I could not be more pleased to say "I do." in this dress. It was the first and last wedding dress I will ever have to try on and cannot believe how perfect it is. July 19, 2012
Perfection I made a trip to Chicago not too long ago to try on the BHLDN dresses that I loved so much. I had my heart set on another that I thought would surely be the ONE, yet when I tried it on I knew that it wasn't. I put on the Cassini gown and it was perfect. The gown is unbelievably comfortable (very important to me - cannot wear some big dress that I can't move in on my wedding day), and moves and feels like water over my body. I ordered the size 4 (normally wear a 2 or 4 but sometimes need to order a 6 in tops/dresses for my bust) which fit perfectly, and within days it was delivered to my door! I think the fabric might be a slightly darker ivory in person than shown in the picture, but nothing too shocking. I could not have dreamed of a more perfect dress (and this was after MONTHS of searching) and a better experience finding it. The staff members were so accommodating, sweet, and professional, not at all like most bridal boutiques I had been to where rudeness seems to be a requirement. Don't be intimidated by the bow or the style of dress, it really fits beautifully and I cannot wait to wear it in October! May 2, 2012
