I went to a BHLDN store and tried on the Onyx gown in champagne, and I fell in love with it! It is so beautiful, light, and flowy.
I'm 5'4, 115lbs, B-cups, and I am usually in the 0-4 dress size range. I tried in sample in the store in a 4 and it swallowed me up. So I ordered the dress in a 2 and it is almost perfect! I will have to get it shortened (not surprising) and get the top taken in a tiny bit but that is all. I can't wait to wear this beautiful dress on my wedding day!

The perfect wedding dress!
I knew from the minute I saw this online that it would be my wedding dress - it is so intricate, feminine and elegant! I ordered a size 2 and only needed to make a few minor alterations (mostly to shorten the length). My one critique would be that the train does not bustle, so this presented a minor problem after the ceremony and throughout the reception. But overall, I felt absolutely stunning in this dress - I highly recommend it!

Gorgeous but I would think twice
This dress is gorgeous and I have been dreaming of it since I saw it online. I tried it on a size too big and decided to order it. When I did I realized that the style made my torso looks really short, and I don't have a short torso. However I do have big hips, so I would recommend this dress to girls who don't. The other deal breaker for me was that this tule skirt was so delicate that I could see myself ripping it before ever getting to my wedding. I ended up getting the Laverne gown instead which I loved.

More perfect than I imagined!
I am so incredibly happy I chose this dress for my wedding (Aug. 2013). It's very lightweight, especially when juxtaposed with heavy traditional bridal dresses. It moved gracefully as I walked down the aisle and danced, and felt straight out of 20s or 30s. The lace is stunning and unique, and I'm shocked I didn't rip it!
Two less than perfect things: I bought a size 8, which fit well in the store (thank you BHLDN, Chicago!), but the one I received was really large on me up top (I'm a 36D with about a 30" waist). That extra space may be normal for wedding dresses as compared to the sample in store, but, regardless, you'll need a tailor to take it in a bit. Bustling was tricky because there is so much added fabric in the train.
Accents & Pairings: I added a coral colored sash from BHLDN to pair with the dress. For shoes, I wore pink/flesh-colored lace oxfords I found at Anthro two days before the wedding. Jewelry was all silver.
I absolutely loved this dress and would recommend it to anyone who wants a vintage, elegant look! Thank you, BHLDN!
