This was the first dress that I tried on and my heart swooned. I ended up buying another dress I thought was better, but quickly regretted my decision. I ended up swapping my dress for the Grace and so glad that I did! The fit was perfect, but I couldn't find a bra that was discreet enough to wear. The top of the material is thin so a tape job had to be perfect or else you could potentially see any creases you might have.

I was afraid to try on this gown with the other reviews but it was beautiful!! I felt like Gracy Kelly! The top fit my natural waist, the back was striking, and the tulle was beautiful. The only reason I didn't choose this dress was because it was a little warm for my time of year but I highly recommend!!

by Verified Reviewer Thrillingly gorgeous dress!
I will respectfully and happily disagree with the other reviews of this dress: after stalking it online for my winter wedding because of its beauty, I tried it on this morning and I'm thrilled to say it is completely gorgeous. I tried on the 10, which was the only sample my local BHLDN had, and based on my measurements I am exactly a size 2 in the Grace gown, so as you can imagine the fit was not perfect....and even still I could tell how lovely it will be. The top is much lighter-feeling than I anticipated; I get hot easily so although I loved the long sleeves for my winter wedding, I feared they would be tight. Instead, the top was very comfortable, flattering, super-elegant in its simplicity. The skirt is a dream! It was, again, long for me because 8 sizes too big, but I love the classic drama of the tulle and didn't think it was too much.
I have always aspired to the ballgown silhouette for my wedding gown (I'd wear a mermaid to the Oscars or for black tie, but when else do you get to dress like a bride?), and this gown's silhouette reminded me of a princess gown in the true sense: something the royals would wear. Like Princess Grace's gown. Perhaps hence the name.
I brought my most fashion-forward AND honest friend with me, to ensure I didn't have my bride-goggles on, and she also said it is a fabulous dress. Classic, elegant, romantic, perfect for every wedding month except July and August (the sleeves).
If you try it on, make sure your stylist clips you in properly. My BHLDN stylist referred to me as "extremely petite" but she was able to show me with the sample size 10 how beautiful the 2 will look.
I'm excited! I hope you love the gown, too.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Verified Reviewer Thought this was going to my dress!
If there is anything you take away from this review, it's that if you think you are interested in this dress, you have to go and try it on in person! I would not recommend ordering it online before getting a fitting. I was sure that this dress would be the one! I loved the classic, simplistic style and the longer sleeves. In person, I could just tell from how it hung on the hanger that it wasn't what I was expecting. The skirt starts higher than the waist line, so the top of the dress cuts in at a strange and unflattering part of the body, unlike how it's modeled in the picture. Also, there isn't much definition between the top of the dress and where the skirt starts - the result: a square and frumpy look. I didn't even walk out of the changeroom with this on, I was so disappointed. I am pear-shaped - I thought I should mention I also saw a woman with a very short and tiny frame try this dress on before me. It also wasn't very flattering on her - she got lost in the material.
