I just bought this dress and could not be happier. First, the pictures do not do this dress justice. It is far more gorgeous in person. Second, I think this dress really show cases curves very well. I am pear shaped with a small waist/bust, and big butt. I usually wear a size 14 in dresses, but bought the size 10 in this dress. By the time I lose a little weight for the wedding, it will fit perfectly. I actually think this dress runs a little large. Also, I bought this at the Georgetown store, and have to say that Lucy was a pleasure to work with. She was funny, patient and had good taste, which made dress shopping very fun. I feel very sophisticated and sexy in this dress, and given the right gala, I could even wear this again since it's not perfectly white. LOVE! Oh, this dress is not very long, so I will need to wear with small heels since I am 5'8".

This was my reception dress. We had a 1920s theme going and this gown was simply stunning. I felt like an old-fashioned movie star! Such a fun dress. I'm petite (5' 105") and only had to have it hemmed (I wore size 2). Which could be tricky with the beading, but luckily my tailor had done the same dress before. I didn't need to wear a bra with it because it is well padded, which only added to the comfort. Highly recommend!

Love this dress!
I am having a winter wedding and this dress is perfect! The gold is very festive and the dress feels much more expensive than it is. The back straps are actually slightly see through, which is lovely. It has breast cups, so if you are small chested and don't need a lot of support you will not need a bra.
Fit: I am 5-8 1/2, 137 pounds, 34 C, small waist/ribcage, bigger on the bottom. The size 4 fits like a glove. I am usually a 4 in dresses (Ann Taylor, Banana Republic, etc.). The length was fine. With bare feet, the tulle just touches the floor and the outer layer rests a little on the floor. I am thinking 2-inch heels. With 1.5 to 2-inch heels, it looks pretty much like the length in the picture. A higher heel would be fine, but the dress would hit the top of the shoes (which I think technically it is supposed to), rather than touching the floor.
This is the first dress I tried on and it's a keeper!

I bought this dress for my upcoming winter wedding this year. I adore this dress. It is a beautiful shade of champagne that warms my olive skin beautifully. It is lightweight, moves softly with your body, and is a perfect balance between old hollywood glam and gatsby. The beading is detailed and thoughtful, and makes the dress look much more expensive than it is.
I have an athletic small curvy build and the size 6 fits perfect. (street size 4) I am exactly 5'5" and the dress is a bit too long, even in heals. I will either hem it up or just buy higher shoes for my wedding.
Love the Maxine!
