Elegance Beyond Compare
The moment I pulled this dress out of the bag, I was floored. It feels and looks so expensive. It's without boning, and therefore incredibly soft to wear. The silk lining is very comfortable as well. It's an extremely light dress, easily moved and danced in (a huge plus in my books). The lace is intricate, detailed, and airy, and the illusion tulle on the neck and back is delicate and ethereal. It comes with a small train as well, which adds just the right amount of drama without being a bother, and the cream color has just enough warmth to it without straying too far from traditional "bridal."
Unlike one of the other reviewers, the tulle fit my back perfectly, and I actually won't have to have the dress altered at all. Just read the measurements and know this dress is a sheath gown, not a fit-and-flare like it may look in the photos, and as such, it will be form-fitting and snug.
I'm a huge fan as of this dress, and will be thrilled to wear it on my wedding day.

This dress is what dreams are made of
I originally tried on this dress at BHLDN in Georgetown. I loved it but was still a little undecided. When it went on sale I made the decision to order it...and I am SOOOO glad I chose this as my wedding gown! The details (such as the scalloped bottom, perfect length train, and plunging back) were enough to make me happy, but the way this dress makes me feel is what sold me. The straps are a tiny bit big (I'm 5'2" and a 32D bust)...but there is a seam on the shoulders that make it a simple alteration for any experienced tailor. Like other reviews have mentioned...it is certainly "form fitting" but that's party of the beauty, I think. If you are on the fence about this dress...order it!! You won't be disappointed. :)

This was my personal experience with this dress and a forewarning to others who may have questions. I bought this dress at the end of 2014 and it came to me with damages the bottom slip was the correct length but the top lace slip was significantly shorter. Since I am 5'8" with shoes on, the lace was not long enough to cover my toes.
There were also many spots of unfinished lace throughout the dress. I simply assumed I got a lemon, returned the dress, and had them send out a new one.
When I received my second dress it had the same issue with the length and there were again other defected spots with the lace.
With this same issue occurring with not just one, but two dresses I scratched this choice and moved on. Good luck with your dress shopping journey ladies!
I have to make one last quick comment about Elizabeth at BHLDN in LA. She was the most genuine, kind and understanding stylist. I highly recommend scheduling with her if you can. I had two appointments at the BHLDN the first was very impersonal and cold, then I was rescheduled with Elizabeth and she made the experience unforgettable. I quickly want to thank her for her help and unforgettable service.

This was the first wedding dress I tried on. I keep coming back to this as I haven't decided yet and still have time. I love the illusion top and I was a little unsure how it would look on me as I have a large bust and small everywhere else and didn't want all the focus to be on that, but rather the unique pattern. It's a very fitted dress but I felt like I could move in it, it bunches a bit by the belly, but hopefully proper shapewear underneath and tailoring will help. Still looking, but who knows...maybe this will be the one? :)
