gorgeous silk

just got this today and it is absolutely gorgeous!

the fabric is 100% silk, and feels dreamy on the skin.

as others have mentioned, the color is not cream or ivory, but a soft very pale beige-pink.

i would recommend sizing DOWNâ??I usually wear a 6 or an 8, and i initially purchased a S but will be returning it for an XS. also, i'd recommend sizing down if you have a short torso so that the waist hits in the correct place.

very tasteful

I bought this piece for my wedding night. I am usually a small but sized down per instructions, and it fit great. It is a very vintage blush piece and worth every penny.

Misleading color, but gorgeous

My husband bought this for me for my birthday this year (after heavy hints), and it just arrived this afternoon.

I have to say it is striking and even more beautiful on.

A couple of things to think about:

*The color is not really a cream as it appears in the pictures, but more a blush and the mid section is a little more tan than I expected. Not a problem for me because I wasn't looking for a white wedding look, but it might be for others.

*If you're shorter, and I am, you will need to have this hemmed. I'm 5'4" and I will raise this 2" so it doesn't drag the ground.

*I usually would wear a size 10 (definitely hour glass shaped), and if this sizing chart were accurate, I'd have ordered a L. However I was lucky in that my husband guessed my size at a M. The band fits my waist perfectly. If you're curvy with a narrower waist, size down, because there is more than enough cloth below that band to make it look elegant.

Again really really striking, and absolutely stunning on. Deducting a point for the accuracy in color portrayal, but that's the only issue.

Cheaply made

I bought this for my wedding night and was thoroughly disappointed. The material was rough and cheap--worse than what I would expect at VS. The color was chintzy pink and not cream or ivory. I couldn't return it fast enough.
