OMG - could there be a more gorgeous dress for a garden wedding?! As soon as I saw this dress, I KNEW it was the one! However, after checking the FIT GUIDE on the website, I panicked. I'm 5'8" tall and pear shaped. According to the FIT GUIDE and my measurements, I would need to order a size 2-4 top, a 6-8 waist, and 10-12 skirt. After emailing a BHLDN consultant for advice, I was told to err on the safe side and order on the upper end of my hip measurement since the skirt liner fit slim. Needless to say the size 12 dress was ENORMOUS on me. (I wear size 10-12 pants so this isn't a vanity issue.) I was absolutely SWIMMING in the size 12 â?? with 5-6 inches of fabric to spare off each hip. With the higher-waisted style of this dress, the A-line skirt starts to flare at a higher point than many dresses. And the lining is not overly slim fitting either. I ended up returning the 12 to re-order the 8, and with such a long turn-around process to return and re-purchase I just donâ??t want to hassle switching it out for the 6. Overall I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this dress and canâ??t imagine getting married in anything else. I will have to alter the top a bit since Iâ??m small busted, but can live with the extra room in the skirt (it will just accommodate more cake & dancing!). Lastly, while I often feel that BHLDN items are overpriced, the quality of this dress is well worth $500, especially since itâ??s a style Iâ??ll be able to wear again and again.

Dangerously Deep V-Neck
This dress is much lower-cut than it looks in the photo. The V-neck came together well below my chest, and the top was loose (34B/C), so I couldn't move at all without exposing myself completely. The cut of the dress doesn't really allow for tacking the neckline together. (I tried pinning; it looked awkward.) I don't think anyone could wear this dress without fashion-taping it to her chest.
Otherwise, the fit was great, and the lace looks as beautiful in person as it does in the photo. :)

Just lovely
I ordered this dress in sizes 4 and 6, and found that because I have a large ribcage and the waist on the dress is a bit high, the 6 fit better. As is often the case, I'll have to have the upper part tailored, as I am a 36A. I suspect a 36B would have to make no alterations at all.
The neck is indeed quite deep, but not shockingly so - at least not for someone as non-busty as I am.
I'm 5'3" so the skirt hits a few inches below my knees, but it still looks fantastic. I was concerned that the skirt might be too severe an a-line for my hips (pear-shaped body and all that; sometimes I am a 2 on top and an 8 on bottom), but it's more than flowy enough. I'm very happy with the purchase.
If I had any complaint at all, it's that the sash is a bit flimsy. Most likely, I'll replace it.
But overall, I'd have been happy with this purchase even if the dress were a full $100 more than it is. And best of all, no more dress-hunting. Hurray!

Good Concept
The concept of the dress is good. However, the cut does not work at all for me. It ends up very low cut with a lot of cleavage, with no extra material to attempt to alter it to bring the fit in. I am not particularly large chested, so I thought it might be my rib cage width; I had my friend with a very narrow frame try it on, with the same result.
