Rime Arodaky

Parisian designer Rime Arodaky began her career as a junior designer in such renowned fashion houses as Sonia Rykiel and Dice Kayek. In 2010 she started a blog, “Lalovelist,” where she shared her design inspirations, wish lists, and musings on weddings and marriage. The blog was an instant success, and she launched her line of non-traditional wedding gowns in 2011. Inspired by designer Yves Saint-Laurent and 1970s icons like Jane Birkin and Romy Schneider, Arodaky challenges the image of the innocent bride.

An avid supporter of animal rights and environmental issues, Maison Rime Arodaky does not use animal skin or any materials tested on animals, and they only work with partners who share their vision of a cruelty-free business model. Featuring luxe crepe and lace sourced from the best French and Italian suppliers, her gowns are best described as elevated rock’n’roll. Sheer details and sexy, modern silhouettes are the cornerstone of Arodaky’s sophisticated yet effortlessly cool aesthetic.
