International Shipping Information


Due to current restrictions by our shipping partners, we are temporarily unable to deliver to Ukraine. We are closely monitoring the situation and will resume delivery when possible.

Shipping Destinations, Times & Charges


For more information on charges, postal carriers and estimated delivery times for orders, select your country/region from the menu below. Some specialty and/or oversized items may require an additional handling surcharge.

Free standard shipping applies on US, Canada, and Australia orders of $50 or more and free express shipping on Mexico orders of $50 or more for a limited time. Does not apply to Unlimited Furniture Delivery, duties, taxes, previously placed orders, and/or any orders shipping outside of the US, Canada, Australia, or Mexico.

Please note that the order amount at checkout excludes duties, taxes, and carrier brokerage fees. These will be assessed upon delivery by the postal carrier and must be paid by the order recipient.

For orders shipping to Canada, with regard to import fees, we offer two options: import fees due upon delivery and import fees prepaid. By selecting import fees due upon delivery, you are responsible for paying all duties, taxes and carrier brokerage fees assessed upon delivery, all of which are nonrefundable. By selecting import fees prepaid, the total billed at checkout will have an Import Fee, which includes all taxes, duties, and related administrative expenses to send the goods to your “ship to” location. You will not have to pay anything additional upon delivery, and these import fees are refundable.

Please note: As of 1 July 2018, Anthropologie is required to collect 10% Australian GST on all orders valued at A$1,000 or less imported into Australia.
As of 1 December 2019, Anthropologie is required to collect 15% New Zealand GST on all orders valued at NZ$1,000 or less imported into New Zealand.
As of 1 July 2021, Anthropologie is required to collect VAT on all orders valued at EUR 150 or less imported into the EU. VAT rates by EU country can be found here.

At checkout, we will provide you with an estimated delivery date for your order, which will also be noted on your Order Confirmation email. This estimated delivery date includes processing as well as extra time to account for weekends and/or national holidays.

Orders may be split across multiple shipments, and items ordered together may not be shipped on the same day. Occasionally, items may be out of stock or backordered. You will be alerted in both instances. In the event of a backorder, we will provide an approximate date of shipment. Find more information about backorders here.

Restricted Items

Due to size and customs restrictions, some items are not available for shipment outside the US. While you may wish to purchase items available on our US site, you will be asked to remove these items from your basket if the destination country/region does not permit the import of that item. You may also be asked to remove items from your basket that are low in inventory and cannot be guaranteed for shipment.

Shipping restrictions prevent us from being able to ship select beauty products, furniture, and oversized items outside of the US.

Backorders

If an item is on backorder, an Expected to Ship date will be shown on the product page and at checkout. You will receive an email if there are any changes to the status of your items. You will not be charged for backordered items until they ship. Occasionally, items will go on backorder before your order is fulfilled — if this happens, we will alert you via email.

In the event that your order includes a backordered item, we reserve the right to cancel the item or ship your order in multiple packages. You do have a short window of time to cancel items from your order before they begin processing. Please note, only items eligible for cancellation will be shown, and all quantities of the selected item will be cancelled. To see if your items are eligible for cancellation, review your review your order details.

Cancellations

As soon as we receive your order, we start working on it right away. While we’re unable to make changes after you've placed your order, you do have a short window of time to cancel items from your order before they begin processing. Please note, only items eligible for cancellation will be shown, and all quantities of the selected item will be cancelled. If you do not see the “Cancel Items” option in the order details, that indicates that we are unable to process a cancellation. However, once you have received your order, you may return or exchange any eligible items.

Once your items are successfully cancelled, you will receive an email that includes the cancellation details. The email will be sent to the address listed on the order. You will not be charged for any cancelled merchandise.

Wedding Gowns and Bridal Sets

All wedding gowns and bridal sets require an additional shipping charge of $15 (noted on the product page for the item).

Canada: Title and Casual Goods Power of Attorney & Refund Statement

For orders shipping to Canada, title to the items in your order is transferred from Anthropologie to you when your credit card is charged and your items are transferred to a common carrier for shipment. The transfer of risk of loss from Anthropologie to you and legal delivery with respect to the items in your order occurs upon the transfer of your items to a common carrier for shipment to you . This transfer of title does not affect our returns policy, available here.

By ordering goods from Anthropologie, I hereby authorize Asendia chosen by Anthropologie to act as my agent, and to transact business with the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to clear my merchandise, account for duties and taxes, to return merchandise to Anthropologie, and prepare and submit refund claims on my behalf for any merchandise that I return. I understand that the CBSA will send any refund of duties and taxes that were paid on the returned merchandise to the broker, and that I will obtain the refund directly from Anthropologie. Further, I also authorize the customs broker to endorse any refund cheque issued by the CBSA in my name, so that Anthropologie can be reimbursed.
